MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the VITU Energy and Environment Protection Club (E2PC) is to raise awareness around the globe and act as a think tank to promote and undertake practical approaches for energy conservation and efficiency and renewable energies. We hope to keep Energy and Environment protection club as a leader in environmental stewardship through the presentation of innovative ideas and raising awareness on campus.
OBJECTIVES
The broad objective of the energy and environment protection club is to make students aware of the importance of energy in day to day life, make them understand the gravity of the energy crisis we are going to face, and seek solutions for this. It intends to help create proper energy consciousness, at least in the next generation.
The main objectives are:
· To develop knowledge in the world concerning various energy sources
· To help students to undertake small projects in the field of energy
· To help and motivate students to develop systems to provide energy for various end uses in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner.

The Owen Wimberly Center for Continuing Education in Religion at Oklahoma City University offers a variety of workshops and lectures for both clergy and laity on topics related to issues of ministry, theology, and religion. The Center seeks to help persons understand the importance and relevance of relgion in relation to issues of peace, social justice, and ecological sustainability.
Established in 2002, The Vivian Wimberly Center for Ethics and Servant Leadership oversees the Oikos Scholars Program for Social and Ecological Responsibility and OCUServes, the service-learning program at Oklahoma City University. The Center hosts a number of lectures and workshops each year on a variety of ethical issues and provides co-curricular support for the university’s ethics minor, which is offered through the department of philosophy. Oikos Provost Dr. Mark Y. A. Davies is Founding Director of the Center, and Prof. Dann May serves as Assistant Director.
