Stop the Violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Civilians in the Demoratic Republic of Congo are being raped and tortured by armed soldiers in the name of profit. Take action!

Something horrifying is happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC): men, women, and children are being physically and sexually abused by armed soldiers in the name of profit alone. The Congolese soldiers are the unofficial proprietors of precious minerals that are found there in the Congo. These minerals are used in many of the electronic items we used today, and are therefore in great demand.
The soldiers are using physical force to subvert the civilians into excavating the minerals for them. They are also raping women. Send a message Congress asking them to solidify legislation addressing these heinous crimes against humanity.
