A horrific animal abuse case took place in Lexington, VA recently. According to the Rockbridge Weekly, Robert Carini was arrested after allegedly admitting to kicking and squeezing, a small Chihuahua mix, until its eye popped out, and it's skull was fractured. He pulled on both the upper and lower jaw at the same time untill it's skull was fractured and pressed so hard that one eye popped out. He kicked the dog until it was covered with feces and urine and almost dead. The small dog was euthanized after being picked up by an ACO. Carini was arrested on a misdemeanor. After countless calls were made, those charges were dropped and he has now been arrested on felony animal cruelty charges.
Please if you've ever wanted to help and make a difference, now is the time.
The trial date for this has been set for March 30 in Rockbridge General District Court at 9:00AM.
