THE SPARE PARTS OF DEATH

You are never dead until you cease to exist in someone’s memory.
To be dead is to never have existed, to never have been born,
 or to have
No one still existing with any memories of you.
As long as I can still think of you and about you…..
You will live on as a part of me.
Knowing you has affected me, and as I live on so do you.
Just as your physical being is no longer visible,
you have taken a part of me with you to wherever you are.

A part of me has journeyed to some space
I can’t comprehend with you.

Possibly someday you with your spare parts of me
and me with my spare parts of you will be reunited.

Let’s only hope someone still lives on
with memories and parts of us, so we won’t ever die
