The Dungeon Lady has left the building

For those of you who knew her, Rebecca Mayes - a.k.a. "Dungeon Lady" or "Auntie Becca" - was an amazing woman filled with love, compassion, caring, stubbornness, loyalty, honesty, and a sense of humor that could reduce people to tears when she unleashed it.

So, it is with an ocean of tears and a broken heart that I tell you that our beloved Dungeon Lady has left this life.

Rebecca will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, including me. I can't believe that this is happening - I keep thinking that this is just a misunderstanding, and that the Dungeon Lady is going to come into the groups and tell everyone it's a misunderstanding, and that she's alive and holding her own. I don't want to believe this is real!  


But, while it is cold comfort for those of us who are left to try and cope with this shock, at least Rebecca is no longer suffering. She is free, now, from the burdens she endured in this life.

Walk in beauty, beloved friend. I will miss you, and I will never forget you...

We are still actively working on a resolution. The good news is...your friends are still your friends, they are not "lost" or "stolen". Our system just isn't making all the friend connections in the same way it used to. Our engineers are actively working on rebuilding the connections. In the meantime, please refer to the links below to message your friends.

1) http://www.care2.com/c2c/pm/compose/

From this screen, use the "click here to select names" link to select the friends you wish to message.

2) http://www.care2.com/c2c/my/friends.html

From here, scroll to the friend you wish to message and click, "send a message".

3) Access your friend's page and use the introduction link (I know, I know... there's a character limit). After the first intro message the character limit is lifted and the lines of communication are open.

4) http://www.care2.com/c2c/share/share_compose.html

Use this tool to reach all of your friends with one message. Select "Only my friends" from the "Visibility" drop down list.

Try bookmarking them, for quick access to messaging until this glitch is fixed.

Most of you are probably familiar with most (if not all) of these methods. For those of you who aren't, I hope this helps you to keep in touch with your friends while we work to resolve the issue. We appreciate your patience!
