  •  Make sure the costume is flame retardant.
  •  Colorfast so it won't discolor clothes if it rains.
  •  Does it fit right? Baggy costumes can make kids (or dizzy adults) slip on stairs.
  •  Wear shoes that fit properly and avoid high-heels
  •  Some masks don't allow for proper vision.
  •  Remember some people are allergic to rubber masks.
  •  Wigs, hats and beards shouldn't cover eyes or mouth.
  •  For visibility at night, choose light colored costumes.
  •  Use reflective tape to keep trick-or-treaters visible and safe.
  •  Toy swords, pitchforks and other weapons should be flexible.
  •  Realistic-looking guns should never ever be carried.
  •  Be cautious near lit pumpkins and candles with baggy clothing.

    If you were planning to vote - please please please, send your registration form to the nearest Lithuanian Consulate as soon as possible. I cannot say enough, how important it is that you vote!

    If you need any help deciding for whom you would like to cast your vote, let me know - I'd be more than happy to share what I know with you. This is the first time that lietuviai abroad can voice their vote, I cannot over emphasize the importance of your vote! With what's happening with Russia, Georgia and the Ukraine right now, who we elect can make a vital difference.

    (Un)Known Lithuania, that has made his first steps so far, is celebrating its first bithday on October 25. 

    (Un)Known Lithuania , pradejusi zengti pirmuosius zingsnius, Spalio 25 sves savo 1-aji gimtadieni.

    Looking back to what we've done already and fowadr to the future plans I wish to make this survey to learn more about our audience and to make changes if necessary. I wish our group to prosper and become a great place to be in. Hope you'll help me with this.
