This is something I've been thinking about lately, and a poem to reflect

that just passed through my mind...what if we didn't pledge allegiance

to any particular country or flag, but pledged allegiance to all of

creation--the planet, the galaxy and Light of Truth that fills us

all--even the ones who are ignorant.


What if such a poetic pledge went like this:


I pledge allegiance to the Truth,

the Light that fills our souls,

and to the Universe in which we

play and grow;

One world, one eternity, wholly Love,

Individual beings yet indivisible;

With Liberty, Justice and Happiness for all!
