Animals on factory farms are horribly abused and live their whole lives in misery and suffering. They are by far the greatest number of abused animals in our country. They are housed in cages, crates, or pens in which they can not turn around or lie down, often in their own waste. This is bad for the animals, but also bad for the environment, bad for the workers, and bad for the consumer. YOU CAN HELP!
The Humane Society of the US, along with other national and local groups, is supporting a ballot initiative in California to outlaw 3 of the cruelest confinement structures for chickens, pigs, and cows on factory farms.
We must gather 650,000 signatures from registered California voters by mid- February. We need volunteers to help with signature gathering, office work, etc. Please turn your compassion into action; use your power to change conditions for these animals now!
