Name: Michael E. Jenkins
Type: Memorial (for the deceased)
To Honor: Individual(s)
Location: Fort Gratiot (Port Huron), Michigan United States
My heart was taken from me yesterday, & I helplessly have no way of getting it back. Mike's life, as we knew it, was taken from him yesterday. Mike went into cardiac arrest yesterday morning, & although there was a lengthy effort to try to save him, we didn't get the result we so overwhelmingly desperately desired. I've loved Mike with all of my being, more than ANY words could ever express, & will miss him every single minute of the rest of my life that I'll no longer be able to share with him, MY BEST FRIEND EVER!!!!! My life has been SO VERY blessed for having him as I did, & although there are no words possible to express the deep grief & mourning that I'm feeling for losing him, I'll be FOREVER eternally grateful for the love he reciprocated to me. There will never again be such a great & wonderful man as Mike. He's been loved by every person who's ever had the pleasure to meet him. Although our wish was for his pain to leave his body by means of recovering his health, nevertheless, he is no longer in pain. I thank all who ever cared about Mike, for all who've known him have known he cared deeply for everyone else. Nomatter how he felt, he never hesitated to ask everyone else, "How are YOU doing?" I don't know how I'll EVER be able to say good-bye to him. Rest in peace, my beloved babe.

Upon pre-admission testing for a procedure to remove a salivary gland, Mike, the man I love, was diagnosed with stage IIIa non-small cell lung cancer; i.e., adenocarcinoma, of the right upper lung in June, 2008. Following this diagnosis was 19 radiation sessions, & 2 rounds of chemotherapy using the drugs Cisplatin & Etoposide......................

This was the beginning of our story......

When a soldier comes home, he finds it hard....
 []
...to listen to his son whine about being bored.
[]
....to keep a straight face when people complain about potholes.
[]
to be tolerant of people who complain about the hassle of getting ready for work.
 []
...to be understanding when a co-worker complains about a bad night's sleep.
[]
..to be silent when people pray to God for a new car.
[]
...to control his panic when his wife tells him he needs to drive slower.
[]
..to be compassionate when a businessman expresses a fear of flying.
[]
...to keep from laughing when anxious parents say they're afraid to send their kids off to summer camp.

Please, spread the word!  It could be YOU who needs help from the Red Cross someday!

Please refer to:  http://www.care2.com/news/member/819386516/783813

If you cannot afford to contribute monetarily at this time, it is quite understandable considering our economy being the way it is right now; however, please do a part by at least spreading the word around.  It's important to get the word to people who are able to donate.

Thanks!!

The more we get attached to worldly things,

The more we become detached from ourselves....

Can you provide some examples to support my theory?

THANK-YOU!!!

Hello everyone!  The following message was e-mailed to me; so, I thought I should pass it on.  PLEASE READ IT, AND PAY ATTENTION!  VERY URGENT!  AND IMPORTANT!
Hi All,

I checked with Norton Antivirus and they are gearing up for this virus, so I believe this is real.  Sent to me last night.  I checked snopes.com and this is for real.
Get this sent around to your contacts ASAP.  We don't need this spreading around.  PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND CONTACTS:
You should be alert during the next days:  Do not open any message with an attached file called "Invitation" regardless of who sent it.  It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which "burns" the whole hard disc C: of your computer.  This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this e-mail to all your contacts.  It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.  If you receive a mail called "Invitation," though sent by a friend, do not open it and shut down your computer immediately.  This is the worst virus announced by CNN.  It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever.  This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus.  This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.  SEND THIS E-MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW.  COPY THIS E-MAIL AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS AND REMEMBER:  IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US.

thought I would send this on to you just in case
Terry
