UPDATE:at 1:55pm 3-12-8The House has passed the Motion to Reconsider, and HCM2003
"Opposing the North American Union" lives on.THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE ACTUAL BILL HAS PASSED.It only means it can continue.
Despite a runaround experience with Rich Crandall’s office, it has been confirmed that Representative Tom Prezelski made the motion to reconsider in this afternoon’s floor session.please feelfree to email (tprezelski@azleg.gov) or phone (602-926-3424) to thank him.
here is a fallow-up message from AZSenator Karen Johnson:
Wow! You guys are fabulous! The reports we've gotten from the House of Representatives are that the phones have been going K-U-H-R-A-Z-Y-!!! Yesterday one of the Representatives agreed to ask for "reconsideration" (a second vote). Today one of the legislators called my office to say that they had, as a group, come up with some amending language that they think they can live with. I've read the amendment and it looks fine. The bill still does exactly what we want it to do – it calls for an end to the push for a North American Union. So, the bill will be brought up again on Tuesday. If anyone's interested in watching, the Floor session will be broadcast live on the internet Tuesday. Please discontinue the phone calls to your legislators, but if any of you haven't sent an email yet, feel free to still do that. (Just as a little continuing encouragement to support HCM2003.) If anything changes, I'll let you know on Monday.
Thanks for being such a great grassroots movement! You guys are wonderful! This has been a VERY successful effort.
Best regards,
Senator Karen S. Johnson kjohnson@azleg.gov 602-926-3160 Arizona Senate 1700 W. Washington St.
^_^ see, we CAN do it! for anyone still interested in helping, here is a list of those who voted no (a little gentile persuasion could turn them into yes' on the next vote) and thank you again for helping!!!

PLEASE, do not wait to act on this. Because of citizen resistance the SPP has been forced to back out of promoting the NAU on a Federal Level and they are now trying to implement it State by State. You can only guess which side Good old Napolitano is on. We need this to pass so that Arizona can stand with other states that have established that we will not tolerate a merging of North America. Let's flood their offices and show them that majority of Arizona (and the country and the world) opposes the NAU.
LETTER FROM AZ SENATOR KAREN JOHNSON - LESS THAN 12 HOURS LEFT TO ACT

IT IS WORKING! WE ARE DOING IT!! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???
If one of the Representatives whom voted "NO" on this bill moves for reconsideration within 24-hours, then discussion is re-opened and the previous vote is null.
Here is what YOU can do to help: Rich Crandall voted "NO", but since then he's been educated on the importance of this bill. Now he's on the fence.
I believe that we can flood his email, phone and fax urging him to move for reconsideration and that he'll do it.
His contact info is rcrandall@azleg.gov, (p) 602 926 3020, and (f) 602 417 3119.
Take action now! Let's win this thing! Below is the message that I sent to Rich Crandall.
from: theunitedfreaks to: rcrandall@azleg.gov date: Tue, Mar 11, 2008 at 9:54 PM subject: Reconsider HCM 2003 mailed-by: gmail.com
Dear Rich,
I noticed that you voted "NO" to HCM 2003. I am urging you to move for reconsideration ASAP.
This is a very big and important issue that is part of a larger agenda. It will be very dangerous to leave the People of Arizona open to the possibility of a North American Union.
The North American Union is not a joke, Rich. It's the death of this country. No more Constitution, no more Bill of Rights, no more "of the People, by the People, for the People".
Please reconsider your vote and support the People to whom you took an oath.
