Stop the Government from Using Two of the World's Deadliest Poisons!

This is the last day to take action, so please help save wildlife today.

Wildlife Services, a program of the USDA, uses sodium cyanide and Compound 1080 -- two of the deadliest poisons in the world -- to kill coyotes and other predators.

Each year, more than 10,000 wild animals die horrific deaths after ingesting these poisons -- including wolves, swift foxes… or even the family dog. The collateral damage is astounding.

Here's a scenario we can all imagine:

A coyote takes down a sheep, biting into the animal's collar and ingesting a deadly dose of Compound 1080.

The coyote writhes in agony, finally dying alongside a river.

Downstream, an otter visits the river to fish. The fish he catches carries the poison, too and the otter goes off to die a painful death.

The fish carcass, still on the shore, is found by a raccoon who scavenges the remains and he, too, dies.

A deer wanders by the river to take a drink of water and absorbs enough poison to die. Wolves scavenge the deer carcass, birds pick at the remains, and the cycle continues.

Because this poison is chemically stable, it poisons the ground and remains toxic for years.

You can help.

Take action online to urge the Environmental Protection Agency to ban these cruel and environmentally devastating poisons once and for all.
