In the Pembroke area of Va Beach (VA) there is an abundance of feral cats (50+ at least). This is on Euclid Road (patch of woods) I have already called most of the local organizations but none of them can or will do anything (TNR program) it looks like the most that can be done so far is to borrow traps from an organization in Chesapeake and pay $40.00 to take them to the Snip Mobile which would be $2,000 at least for all of the cats. I suppose I could try and apply for the Petsmart charity grant thing (for fixing feral cats).....if anyone has any ideas or can help please let me know.

Away from public view and off-limits even to many of PetSmart's employees, PetSmart's back rooms hide away the immense suffering of the littlest companion animals.

At the PetSmart store in Manchester, Connecticut, a location that PetSmart boasts of as having an "exceptional pet care record," PETA's undercover investigation documented more than 100 animals—including hamsters, domestic rats, lizards, chinchillas, and birds—who lay hopelessly, just waiting to die, in the store's "sick room," deprived of desperately needed veterinary care and wasting away out of customers' sight.

Please join PETA in calling on PetSmart to end live-animal sales. Let the multibillion-dollar company know that you will not be setting foot in any of its stores until live animals are no longer part of the inventory. Spread the word by forwarding this alert to your friends and family members and asking them to speak up today. The animals suffering at PetSmart depend on you!

Personalized letters always work best. Feel free to use the following text, but your message will carry more weight if you write your own customized message and subject line.
