HIV may not be the true cause of AIDS.

Remember AIDS=Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome…this means the immune system is not able to fight off a wide variety of actual diseases. AIDS is NOT a disease and neither is HIV?

The video points out that the true cause of AIDS is any number of things, in this country it started out as a gay person and drug user's syndrome that caused many different diseases. The reason for it as stated in the film was the exposure to the retrovirus's of too many people, drug usage, stress; all of which breaks down the immune system. If a gay man has 50 sex partners in a year he is exposed to the retrovirus of those 50 plus the 50 each of them was exposed to plus the 50 each of them was exposed to ad infinitum. It also states that a variety of other illnesses stress the immune system to the point where this acquired immune deficiency syndrome occurs.

(PLEASE NOTE: I am only presenting information I learned in this video. I am making no judgments about gay people or drug users. You will need to do more research for yourself if this is personally impacting your life.)

Every country in the world measures and diagnoses HIV based on different criteria. You can be diagnosed as HIV positive in one country and as HIV negative in another. So if you find you are diagnosed as HIV positive in the USA then you can just move to Australia or some other country and be negative. Health problem solved right? There is something very wrong here…read on or scroll down and watch the video for yourself.

No one has ever seen the HIV virus! We only have artist's renditions of what they theorize the virus should look like. After all these years shouldn't we have found one of these viruses in somebody's blood? The doctors in this film say this is not normal procedure for declaring something a virus. You must be able to isolate a virus and see it in a microscope to identify it as a cause of a disease.

The test for HIV itself comes from the manufacturer with a warning…"This test should not be used for the diagnosis of HIV-1 infection and is intended for use only in individuals with documented HIV infection."

It appears as we are being scammed by the drug companies and the US Military. Yes the US Military …are you surprised? This video states that the head of the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and the other major medical agency (sorry I did not get the name of it…watch the video) involved with discovering HIV/AIDs and its continual classification is the US Military.

A doctor in the film is says, "Our theory is that AIDs can be treated and prevented by antioxidants and this has been proven by researchers from Stamford University where they have shown that AIDS patients including the T4 lymphocytes of AIDS patients are oxidized and that oxidation is directly related to the development of AIDS and conversely, if you give antioxidants to the AIDS patient, the progression of the disease is inhibited."

They have proven this and still they dole out the drugs …WHY? Follow the money!

AIDS is not a medical problem it is a social problem.

In the video they say, "In the 80s the AIDs epidemic was the result of the recreational drug epidemic in the US and Europe. It shifted considerably in the 90s and is a direct result of the anti-retroviral drugs themselves."

In Africa they have found it financially convenient to diagnose people HIV positive, because drug companies will pay for diagnosis and treatment, rather than with one of the many other diseases that cause AIDS.

That is enough from me. I am thoroughly disgusted. Watch the video.

We need to wake up to the bullshit we are being fed. Our governments, the medical community and the major networks are all doing a major snow job on us and we have to stop it. We get better information from the internet, independent bloggers and MySpace friends. Can you understand why I suggested a new system for governing ourselves in my blog International World Government.

A search on the internet for the producer of this video Gary Null turned up this web page refuting Gary and his claims:
http://www.actupny.org/reports/denialist_gary_null.html
There were many others too. I only present it as a counter point of view. I however have personally found that the medical community is often decietful and corrupt, especially when it come to money. Please take the information presented here and do your own research if this issue affects you or your loved ones directly. I believe that Christine Maggiorie's info in the comments below to be of great value.

This year, 20 billion pounds of dead cows will be fed to American farm animals -These animals, in turn, will be slaughtered and eaten by American consumers

Photobucket

Experts agree that England's epidemic of Mad Cow Disease occurred as a result of feeding infected dead animals back to cows being raised for human food - The same practice has occurred in America, although new FDA regulations prohibit feeding cows their mothers and sisters

The infectious agent responsible for mad cow disease is a
Prion (pronounced: pree-on) This protein particle resembles a crystal, and is very difficult to destroy

Prions are neither bacterial nor viral in nature They contain no DNA - Prions reproduce by "folding" mirror images of themselves in the brain of either cows or humans - During this invasive process, areas of the brain turn into a sponge-like mass -

Photobucket

The medical term for Mad Cow Disease is Bovine Spongiform Encephalitis (BSE) - In lab tests, Prions have been exposed to temperatures of 680 degrees Fahrenheit and higher - The Prions survive

(Cows who die before reaching the slaughterhouse are dragged off trucks with forklifts and thrown on the "dead pile"- Their carcasses will be ground up and turned into feed for chickens and pigs in factory farms- If these cows died from mad cow disease or other contagious illnesses, the pathogens could be passed on to cats, dogs, or farmed animals who eat them

Although the Food and Drug Administration has banned the feeding of dead cows to live cows, they have not banned feeding slaughterhouse renderings to other farm animals)

(The sawed-off legs of cows are collected in barrels—they will later be rendered into fertilizer, dog and cat food, or feed for pigs and chickens in factory farms -The practice of feeding dead cows to other animals could be contributing to the spread of mad cow disease in the U

What happens to cow carcasses today? They are fed to pigs
and chickens - By eating chicken, humans may be exposed to Prions -Some scientists say that the incubation period for the human variant of the brain wasting disease may be as long as 30 years

An article in the current issue of Hoard's Dairyman (March 25, 2001, page 217) innocently reports:

"Ban on feeding ruminant meat and bone meal to ruminants may be expanded to include not feeding it to pigs and chickens, says FDA's acting commissioner - ({That} would create 10- million-ton-a-year disposal problem)"

This is what millions of dead animal carcasses represent to
dairy processors; a "disposal problem"

Ten million tons of blood and entrails, bones, and vital organs

Ten million tons of ground intestinal worms and cancerous tumors - Ten million tons of the grossest imaginable byproducts of animal slaughter -Ten million tons are equal to 20 billion pounds

There are 280 million Americans -Slaughterhouse renderings represent an average of 71 pounds worth of unmentionables per American per year - Have you eaten your three ounces of guts today? Kinda gets me right in the gut -Continue eating chicken and pork, and carry the constant image of what gives that flesh, and your flesh, its essence

Meat Is a Global Warming Issue

By Dan Brook, E Magazine

There are many human activities that contribute to global warming.. Among the biggest contributors are electrical generation, the use of passenger and other vehicles, over-consumption, international shipping, deforestation, smoking and militarism.. (The US military, for example, is the world's biggest consumer of oil and the world's biggest polluter..)

What many people do not know, however, is that the production of meat also significantly increases global warming.. Cow farms produce millions of tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane per year, the two major greenhouse gases that together account for more than 90 percent of US greenhouse emissions, substantially contributing to "global scorching.."

According to the United Nations Environment Program's Unit on Climate Change, "There is a strong link between human diet and methane emissions from livestock.." The 2004 State of the World is more specific regarding the link between animals raised for meat and global warming: "Belching, flatulent livestock emit 17 percent of the world's annual production of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas.."

The July 2005 issue of Physics World states: "The animals we eat emit 21 percent of all the CO2 that can be attributed to human activity.." Eating meat directly contributes to this environmentally irresponsible industry and the dire threat of global warming..

Additionally, rainforests are being cut down at an extremely rapid rate to both pasture cows and grow soybeans to feed cows.. The clear-cutting of trees in the rainforest -- an incredibly bio-diverse area with 90 percent of all species on Earth -- not only creates more greenhouse gases through the process of destruction, but also reduces the amazing benefits that those trees provide.. Rainforests have been called the "lungs of the Earth," because they filter our air by absorbing CO2, while emitting life-supporting oxygen..

"In a nutshell," according to the Center for International Forestry Research, "cattle ranchers are making mincemeat out of Brazil's Amazon rainforests.."

Of course, the US should join the other 182 countries in ratifying the Kyoto Protocol.. Of course, we should sharply reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and shift towards renewable sources of energy.. Of course, we need to stop destroying the rainforests.. Of course, we need to stop the war in Iraq and drastically reduce the US military budget (presently at half of the entire world's total military spending), which would increase, not decrease, national and global security.. But as we're struggling and waiting for these and other structural changes, we need to make personal changes..

Geophysicists Gidon Eshel and Pamela Martin from the University of Chicago concluded that changing one's eating habits from the Standard American Diet (SAD) to a vegetarian diet does more to fight global warming than switching from a gas-guzzling SUV to a fuel-efficient hybrid car.. Of course, you can do both..
Where the environment is concerned, eating meat is like driving a huge SUV..According to Eshel, eating a vegetarian diet is like driving a mid-sized car or a reasonable sedan, and eating a vegan diet (no dairy, no eggs) is like riding a bicycle or walking..
Shifting away from SUVs and SUV-style diets, to much more energy-efficient alternatives, is key to fighting the warming trend..

Global warming is already having grave effects on our planet.. Vegetarians help keep the planet cool in more ways than one..
Paul McCartney says, "If anyone wants to save the planet, all they have to do is just stop eating meat.. That's the single most important thing you could do.."
Andrea Gordon, in her article "If You Recycle, Why Are You Eating Meat?" agrees: "There is a direct relationship between eating meat and the environment..
Quite simply,
you can't be a meat-eating environmentalist!?
Sorry folks.."

Vegetarianism is literally about life and death -- for each of us individually and for all of us together..
Eating animals simultaneously contributes to a multitude of tragedies:

the animals' suffering and death;
the ill-health and early death of people;
the unsustainable overuse of oil, water, land, topsoil, grain, labor and other vital resources;
environmental destruction, including deforestation, species extinction, mono-cropping and global warming;
the legitimacy of force and violence;
the mis-allocation of capital, skills, land and other assets;
vast inefficiencies in the economy;
tremendous waste;
massive inequalities in the world;
the continuation of world hunger and mass starvation;
the transmission and spread of dangerous diseases;
and moral failure in so-called civilized societies..

Vegetarianism is an antidote to all of these unnecessary tragedies..

The editors of World Watch concluded that "the human appetite for animal flesh is a driving force behind virtually every major category of environmental damage now threatening the human future -- deforestation, erosion, fresh water scarcity, air and water pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, social injustice, the destabilization of communities and the spread of disease.." Lee Hall, the legal director for Friends of Animals, is more succinct: "Behind virtually every great environmental complaint there's milk and meat.."

Global warming may be the most serious global social problem threatening life on Earth.. We need to fight global warming on the governmental and corporate levels, and we also need to fight global warming on the everyday and personal levels..
Now we need to fight global warming -- with our forks!

Animal testing for products is completely pointless and cruel - we all know not to rub soap into our own eyes - we dont need companies to rub soap into a poor little animal's eyes and make them suffer or even go blind FOR SOAP!!!

Welcome to the real world

Why be Vegetarian?

There are so many good reasons for being veg{etari}an (health, animals, the environment) that a better question might be, "Why NOT be vegetarian?"

When you can easily...

significantly improve your health,

dramatically reduce your environmental footprint,

and greatly lessen the suffering of animals

...lets ask instead, "What's stopping you?"

Of course, the decision about whether to become a "veg" is a matter of personal choice.

But; if more people really knew how bad meat is (for them, the planet, and the animals), more people would make the choice to go meatless

Improve your health

The medical evidence is clear, consistent and overwhelming.

Vegetarians and vegans:

...are far less likely to get cancer, heart disease, diabetes, or osteoporosis

...are far less likely to be overweight

...have lots more stamina

...consume far less pesticides in their food

...have superior immune function

The largest epidemiological study ever conducted (the China-Oxford-Cornell study) found that those eating the amount of animal foods typical for Americans have seventeen times the death rate from heart disease, and, for women, five times the rate of breast cancer, than those who get 5% or less of their protein from animal foods

Meat contains 14 times the amount of pesticides as plant foods, since pesticides get concentrated as they move up through the food chain, and since they're more easily stored in fatty tissues.. In 1980, six years after the pesticide dieldrin was banned, the USDA destroyed two million packages of frozen turkey products contaminated with dieldrin.. (And such contamination can routinely occur without detection.) In 1974, the FDA found dieldrin in 85% of all dairy products and 99.5% of the American people.. The EPA discovered that the breast milk of vegetarian women contained far lower levels of pesticides than that of average Americans.. A study reported in the New England Journal of Medicine found that "The highest levels of contamination in the breast milk of the vegetarians was lower than the lowest level of contamination…(in) non-vegetarian women… The mean vegetarian levels were only 1-2% as high as the average levels in the U.S.."

Prevent cruelty to animals

Nobody wants animals to suffer, but it's easy to forget that when we eat them, that's what we're supporting.

The easiest action a person can take to reduce animal suffering is to simply stop eating them..

Around eight billion animals are killed for food every year in the U.S.. alone -- a number greater than the entire human population of the planet.. Each meat-eating American eats the equivalent of about 24 animals per year.. What's worse, modern agricultural methods mean that animals are raised in cramped confinement operations instead of the pastures from childhood picture books -- a practice known as factory farming...

Chickens killed for their flesh in the United States are bred and drugged to grow so quickly that their hearts, lungs, and limbs often can't keep up.. Read more about chickens

Hens used for eggs live six or seven to a battery cage the size of a file drawer, thousands of which are stacked tier upon tier in huge, filthy warehouses.. Read more about laying hens

Cattle are castrated, their horns are ripped out of their heads, and third-degree burns (branding) are inflicted on them, all without any pain relief.. Read more about cows raised for their flesh

Cows used for their milk are drugged and bred to produce unnatural amounts of milk; they have their babies stolen from them shortly after birth and sent to notoriously cruel veal farms so that humans can drink the calves' milk.. Read more about dairy cows

Mother pigs on factory farms are confined to crates so small that they are unable to turn around or even lie down comfortably.. Read more about pigs

Fish on aquafarms; spend their entire lives in cramped, filthy enclosures, and many suffer from parasitic infections, diseases, and debilitating injuries.. Conditions on some farms are so horrendous that 40 percent of the fish may die before farmers can kill and package them for food.

Read more about fish

Turkeys' beaks and toes are burned off with a hot blade. Many suffer heart failure or debilitating leg pain, often becoming crippled under the weight of their genetically manipulated and drugged bodies.. Read more about turkeys

For some, vegetarianism and veganism are easy ways to refuse to participate in this cruelty!

Save the Earth

Eating vegetarian saves more land, energy, and water than any other choice you can make.

That's because livestock eat several times more grain than they produce as meat.

So raising livestock uses:

several times as much land to grow the grain to feed them

several times as much energy to harvest the grain and transport it

several times as much water to grow the grain and to water the animals

several times as much pesticides, etc..

Worldwide petroleum reserves would be exhausted in 11 years if the rest of the world ate like the U.S.

The least energy-efficient plant food is 10 times as efficient as the most efficient meat food.

A nationwide switch to a pure vegetarian diet would allow us to cut our oil imports by 60%

Over half of the water used in the U.S. is used to grow feed for livestock... It takes 100 times as much water to produce meat than to produce wheat.. The water required to produce a day's diet for a typical American is 4,000 gallons. (It's 1,200 for vegetarians and 300 for vegans.

) Compared to a vegan diet, three days of a typical American diet requires as much water as you use for showering all year (assuming you shower every day)..

U.S.

Livestock produce 250,000 pounds of waste per second
-- 20 times as much as humans.. A large feedlot produces as much waste as a large city, but without a sewage system.. Animal waste washed into rivers and lakes causes increased nitrates, phosphates, ammonia, and bacteria, and decreases the oxygen content.. This kills plant and animal life.. The meat industry account for three times as much harmful organic waste as the rest of the industries in the U.S. combined..

It takes ten times as much land to produce food for an average American compared to a pure vegetarian... An acre of land can produce 20,000 pounds of potatoes, but only 165 pounds of beef. In the U.S., 260 million acres of forest have been destroyed for use as agricultural land to support our meat diet (over 1 acre per person) Since 1967, the rate of deforestation has been one acre every five seconds.. For every acre cleared for urban development, seven acres are cleared to graze animals or grow feed for them..

Around 85% of topsoil loss is directly associated with raising livestock.. The USDA says crop productivity is down 70% as a result of topsoil loss.. It takes nature 500 years to build an inch of topsoil..Vegan diets make less than 5% of the demands on the soil as meat-based diets..

EARTHLINGS is a feature length documentary about humanity's absolute dependence on animals (for pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and scientific research) but also illustrates our complete disrespect for these so-called "non-human providers.
With an in-depth study into pet stores, puppy mills and animals shelters, as well as factory farms, the leather and fur trades, sports and entertainment industries, and finally the medical and scientific profession, EARTHLINGS uses hidden cameras and never before seen footage to chronicle the day-to-day practices of some of the largest industries in the world, all of which rely entirely on animals for profit. Powerful, informative and thought-provoking, EARTHLINGS is by far the most comprehensive documentary ever produced on the correlation between nature, animals, and human economic interests. There are many worthy animal rights films available, but this one transcends the setting. EARTHLINGS cries to be seen. Highly recommended!

Who are Procter & Gamble?

Procter & Gamble (P&G) are the world’s largest consumer products company, with an annual turnover of over $68 billion. Their international headquarters is in the US city of Cincinnati.

Traditionally known for their soaps and detergents, P&G now produce a massive range of products in hair care, cosmetics, perfumes, personal hygiene, laundry care, snack food, paper and feminine hygiene, and even pet food. P&G’s brands include Ariel, Daz, Fairy, Max Factor, Olay, Pantene Pro-V, Herbal Essences, and Head and Shoulders. Click here for the full list.

Why Boycott P&G?

P&G admit that guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, rats and mice are among the animals used in their &lsquoroduct safety research’, as well as cats and dogs in pet food experiments. Uncaged’s investigations continue to reveal disturbing examples of P&G’s ongoing involvement in painful and lethal animal tests.

Procter & Gamble exist for one reason, and one reason only - to make as much money as possible. P&G test on animals because of their desire to get new chemical ingredients on to the market. This allows them to claim that their new hair dye, skin cream or washing powder etc. is ‘new, improved’, in the hope of increasing sales. But with many companies producing similar consumer products without carrying out animal tests, it shows that P&G’s cruelty is motivated by greed.

Obviously, P&G realise that their behaviour appals most people. Sadly, instead of reforming, P&G invest enormous amounts in PR and spin that aims to give a rosy impression of their testing practices. P&G have even been lobbying governments to try to block bans on animal testing for cosmetics that have public support. Now, Uncaged’s investigations have uncovered P&G’s outrageous plans to carry out massive animal testing programmes for new cosmetics and household product ingredients.

Money is the only language P&G understand. Ultimately, by boycotting P&G, you hold the key to saving the many thousands of animals who suffer and die every year in cruel and unnecessary tests conducted by this company.
