Tonight our town had their 1st lighted Christmas parade, and several people from the sanctuary marched in it with our dogs.  We bought battery operated strands of lights and hung them around the dogs' necks, on harnesses, etc. and put bells on some also.  There were probably at least 30 dogs, plus we had a miniature horse pulling a cart from the horse department.  It was great and the dogs behaved very well.  For the town's 1st parade like this, there were quite a few floats.

I took 2 of mine, Holly and Phoenix.  Even though they were both nervous (after all, it was their 1st parade!) they did very well.  They will sleep well tonight, LOL.
