Don Herbison-Evans came up with this -He is a highly accredited scientist-

If what he says is true it may explain Hagishima's Tsunami and indicate how really dangerous global warming is as both regards radioactive fall out from effected nuclear power generators and alsofrom the effect of what may be increasing Tsunamis.

What he says is linked to new research findings that quartz is found where earthquakes most originate

With the fallout not only in California but also in several other states at the moment it may well be worth thinking about and protesting the use of fossil fuels and also nuclear
generators

QUOTE
I think there is connection between global warming and earthquakes.
>>As the ice melts over antarctica,
>>the relaxation of pressure will cause that continental plate to bulge upward,
>>and the adjustments will be felt as earthquakes.
>>Earthquakes cause tsunamis.
>>
>>But this has nothing to do with hotspots under the earths crust,
>>such as Hawaii.
>>These have long been thought to be the result of
>>prolonged eddies in the magma under the crust.
>>It seems they could also be due to high quartz areas.
>>Hotspots also cause earthquakes and tsunamis,
>>but I see no relationship between these hotspots and global warming.

GRANNY FLATS FOR THE HOMELESS

1)Install granny flats in the homes where mortgages are about to result in people being unable to pay and selling

2Allow owners to keep the rent and use it as a supplement on their mortgage finally if times get better for them pay it off and use the flat as they see fit.

2) BENEFITS

public

1 Boost to building trade and therefore also to the economy

2Homeless off streets

3 Keeps banking system and stock markets stable in so far as unpaid mortgages effects them

4 Cuts down on crime from desperate homeless people and the cost of jails

5 Cuts down on disease from homelessness stress and poverty- therefore spread to other members of the public of disease

6 Cuts down on mental instability, child abuse, insanity anxiety disorders-therefore saves public cost and level of stress in the community

7Restores faith in our institutions and could perhaps lead to less civil unrest and certainly would lead to a greater chance of election for any parliament that introduced it

private

1 Keeps people who otherwise might become homeless themselves in their homes

2 If things do not get better they do not add to homelessness themselves-in fact they get to contribute to it's solution

3If things do get better they can pay it off and have a means of living with their relatives in their old age or of installing a carer, and in between times a refuge for any member of their family who suffers economic or health problems including accidents.

4 Cuts pack on mental or physical health costs that they may incur.

Take a look at this Caree gave me this link-IT IS HYPER URGENT

Hi Penelope - thanks for the note and your interest.  I don't know what happened to the link.  It worked fine the first day.  This happened with someone else's news link - I think it's a Care2 issue.  Ugh.  I can't fix the link for this news submission but here's the link if you'd still like to take a look.
