Well, my trip to BC is a welcome change from working so hard lately. I had taken to composing and arranging music again and have my own page on www.sibeliusmusic.com This is a website that hosts sheet music and has over 77,000 pieces of music available. I did an arrangement of Apres Un Reve by Faure.

http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/show_score.pl?scoreid=121640

The commissioner had asked for a version for six cellos, which was a challenge. I also made it into a video, which you can see on my website
www.photahsiamirabel.co.uk There are things I would change in the video if I did it again, but it was my first ever, so I was pleased.

I hope that my friends might visit Sibelius and check out the mp3s of my compositions uploaded so far. If you like them, I need your votes! The "Listen to MP3" tab at the top will give you better sound than listening to the score itself which is only general midi and doesn't sound as good. The vote tab is under the score page, bottom left. Perhaps some people might even feel they want to download and perform the music if they like it enough, but even visiting and voting would be of help to me!

Anyway, it is well past bed time here in Canada and I am not allowed to work here either, so it remains only to wish you all a good night. tomorrow we plan to visit Lake Alouette and I might even get inspired to write a tune or poem. Fortunately you will be spared the video for now as Jewels' computer does not have Vista with all its annoying quirks - or its video creation software - installed....
Just as well, time to recharge the batteries!
Love to all!
