Well I wanted to share that I sent the petition to expose the local pet store for their abuse and neglect of animals and have still gotten not responses.  But one good thing did come of it.  I did more research online on this particular store and found several rip-off reports along with and F filed by the Better Business Bureau.  I am going to go face to face with the media if I have to make this pet store sorry for all the suffering and deaths they are causing.

I AM ONLY 7 SIGNATURES AWAY FROM MY GOAL OF 1000 SIGNATURES BUT I WANT TO MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT SO I NEED ALL THE SIGNATURES I CAN GET SO WE CAN EXCEED 1000.  PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION AND PASS IT AROUND TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.  THANK YOU!!!

I just found an excellent video from the Animal Legal Defese league that talks about animals having basic legal rights.  I want to share this video with everyone I can since I just created and posted a petition asking for the same thing, basic legal rights for animals.  In this video different people in different positions describe why they think animals and society would benefit from giving basic legal rights to animals.  If you haven't already, please sign my petition.

I have been invited by a state represenative to speak at one of their meetings on Friday representing the animal rights and animal welfare community.  This is going to be a great oppurtunity for me to share about the vital and critical issue facing animal welfare today.  For me to stand there giving a speech that is representing the animal welfare community, I need input from the animal welfare community on what they think are vital issues that need attention.  I don't want to only speak about my concerns because that won't grab their attention.  If I want action, I have to be speaking on behalf of several people.  Anyone who has ideas about what I should talk about should please email me at cuba25vp@care2.com.  Thank you and I hope you help me in taking action.
