Holy smokes!

What started out, simply enough, as a hastily-written commentary on my experiences at Woodstock has turned into something bigger.

First off, I wrote the commentary because I am so sick and tired of all the people who write terrible, terrible things about what happened at Woodstock -- when they weren't even THERE!

Someone at CNN.com Live saw my iReport, called me, and had me interviewed live for the website.

Well, early this morning, I was awakened by a call from a CNN producer in Atlanta, asking me if it'd be okay to send a car to pick me up and drive me to the Los Angeles CNN studios to be interviewed on camera.... in 2-1/2 hours.  Man, did I freak out!  I was running around, trying to pick out clothing that would hide my embarrassing weight gain, emailing friends, etc.

Lucky for me (I think), the producer rang me back and said he wants me on live on SUNDAY (still tomorrow, here on the West Coast).

Sooooooooooo........... I'm scheduled to be interviewed, LIVE, on CNN television, during the 4:00 hour of "CNN Newsroom."  Now, mind you, that's 4:00 on the East Coast, so for those of us who live out West, I'll be on during the 1:00 hour.

The producer said it may be as late into the hour as 1:25PM but, if there's a lot of breaking news, whatever, I'll just hold tight.  There's always the NEXT hour of "CNN Newsroom," too.

So ask me if I'm nervous.  I AM SO FREAKING NERVOUS!!!!!!!!!!

But for those of you who also got to go to Woodstock, or wish they had, please send out strong wishes that my mind works well tomorrow, so I listen well to each question, and then ANSWER each question with some bit of intelligence.

Okay, all that said, I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight, so I maybe will get a FEW hours of decent sleep in between the awakening times when I realize that I'm going to be on live tv in just a few more hours.

Hugs to all,

Susie
