This morning as i sat on my porch, drinking my wake me coffee.(5:45am).I was so thinking about how wonderful the early morning is.I could hear the waves of the caribbean in the background, and as on many mornings i watch the Barbados green monkey swinging from tree to tree gathering fruit.Todays treat is Golden apples. Then appearing in the tree was a mother and her five little ones. She sat on the branch of the tallest tree and watched as they went swinging through trees and disappeared. She was very calm and quiet. After about a half hour ,she came from the top branch to the lower branch. To my suprise all the little ones came back,as if they were given a signal, time to leave as the neighborhood becomes busy with mothers sending their children off to school, watching as they disappear from sight.

In am presently in Barbados for the winter.Three days ago a stray dog walked into the yard.He has adopted me it seems.Fed and watered ,clean and feeling secure. The building has a no pet clause in my agreement.I am trying to find a home for Jeep (my name for him as he goes anywhere he wants) this is not so easy. I see that he trust me and knows i will not let him down. Just wanted to share.
