mineralhandcream.jpgThis week we began selling the SeaOra Spa product line, and as I've mentioned on the DDB site, I do not sell anything I wouldn't recommend to my family. Well, the Sea Ora Mineral Hand Cream is my absolute favorite. It's a blend of Dead Sea Salts, Green Tea and Shea Butter and it moisturizes your hands perfectly. Plus it has a very light scent, so it doesn't overpower you.

Personally, I have very, VERY dry skin and with this cream I do not have to reapply as often. This one's definitely a winner!

malie.jpgDDB's considering introducing a new Hawaiian Spa Product line, and would first like to see if any of you would be interested in products such as these. Also, if you are already familiar with this line, please let us know what you think of it.

These products are offered by Malie Kauai and are all made in Hawaii.

bobbibrownbeach.jpgAlthough Winter reared it's freezing cold head months ago...there is a fabulous product that can be used year round to give skin a beautiful sun kissed glow. Bobbi Brown Beach Body Shimmer powder is an excellent product for the winter! It's not "glittery", but gives your body a nice warm shimmer. What makes this product great is that it works for all skin shades and types.

I highly recommend this product for anyone  looking to brighten their dull winter bruised skin.

pinkflamingo.jpg

Yes, yes I know. This is a blog about Spa treatments, Aromatherapy and all of that good stuff. But tonight, I thought I'd discuss the strange obsession I have with Pink Flamingos. The epitome of Kitsch. For as long as I can remember I've loved those plastic pink yard icons. Nothing makes a home feel like home than plastic yard decor. Now before you begin to worry, there are currently no pink birds in my yard, but give me about 30 years and it's on!!!

I recently read an informative book about these yard fellows and apparently they've been around since 1957; thanks to the creativity of Mr. Don Featherstone. Also, it looks as though their days are numbered. The final pink flamingo has been made. This causes a dilemma for me, since I have promised my husband I would not purchase one before we retire, but I'm estimating the price for one of these birdies 30 years from now ala E-Bay might set me back a bit.  Oh well... a promise is a promise. And what the heck maybe I could do what the kids in the 60s did and just steal one from someone's yard.
