The article really opened my eyes to how much the Daily Show does reflect what American culture is turning to in Red states.
What disturbed me about the clip that accompanied the article is the quality of realness that was achieved. The hubs, who was listening not looking kept asking me to assure him it wasn't real and that they were just kidding.
Unfortunately while the clip is satire the idea that is developing of Jesus as some kind of Rambo is growing. The Christian God is Love? Um, sorry but kicking ass and taking names seems to be the antitheses to teachings like "Love your brother as you love yourself." among others.
Caroline’s point is the further marginalization of women in such a culture.Honey I lived in the 50’s Happy Days it wasn’t.I have no desire to go back there. It’s 2010 not 1810 for heaven’s sakes!Get a grip grow up and get over it!
The horrifying thing to me is watching the young women of the &ldquoost feminist” era are buying all the hog wash that is being fed to them by a bunch of old white men who are pissing in their pants at losing their Masters of the World, No Gurlz (or anyone else that isn’t just like us)club from hell.
