Speech ends with pot smoking.

Pierce County prosecutors are deciding whether to charge a 17-year-old Gig Harbor student who was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after he finished a presentation on legalizing marijuana by lighting up.

The News Tribune of Tacoma reports it was the big finish to the student's speech last week at an assembly at Peninsula High School.

After smoking most of the joint, he ate the remains.

From The Seattle Times, Thursday June 4, 2009.
