Joy to the world,JOY TO A INMATE holliday card

world

Hello Friends,

I make every year a list from prisoners who having no mail, no visitors and those who needs a cheering up, because they are already many years in prison, and still struggle for their case.
The Holliday’s are coming, I like to ask you if you want to send a Christmas or New Year card to one or more who is on the list.
Please let me know who you choose, its not that I want to know, but I like to have everybody a Holliday card, and not one a lot and the other get nothing.

If you know somebody who you want on the list to, send me his or her address !!

A poem I got last year from someone who was really glad to got a card:

Once I was a prisoner
Of my own thoughts and feelings
I was chained and locked up
Behind the problems of the day
My life had no value
The death was my destiny
Everything was so dark,
Cold, hateful

But then, one day
You came
The prison was filled with light
My chains were broken
The door of my mind stood wide open
You came to rescue me
And now You shine in my life!
You are my Redeemer, my Friend !
Thank You! I love You!

Note: the ( 1 x ) is how many times they are choosing

We are as a committee currently moving forwards with our plight for Penal Reform, as well as our efforts toward Reformed and rehabilitated men and woman being placed on the electronic monitoring and voice verification, as stated in LA  R.S  !5:550.

As a whole knowing that we are here for mistakes we made in life, we still try to make amends and seek forgiveness!

The Forgotten Men Committee are based upon Justice, equality and professionalism.

We as committee feel that even though we are making some progresses, they can only be measured by the strength of our weakest link.

That is our main reason for seeking Unity with all of those that can and will embrace our cause.

At the same time we are happily willing to work with any group that has a positive and productive agenda.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERNS !!!

This letter is for you, the voters, to finally know the truth.

For far to long you have been kept in the dark about certain remedies that could save the State of Louisiana millions dollars while helping to stabilize our ailing economy.

The PILOT PROGRAM is the answer !!!.

This program is a law under Louisiana Revised Statute 15:550.

Thanks to today’s modern technology, a reform and rehabilitated in mate cab be placed on twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week monitoring and supervision.

This program ensure the safety of the public because the inmate who is placed back into society is monitored at all times and restricted on where he and/or she may go.

The restrictions are so harsh that only an inmate who is reformed and rehabilitated could do well under such circumstances.

This program cuts no slack.

It separates the real from the fake and will expose an individual who is not truly rehabilitated.

This program would also save Louisiana about 150 million dollars a year and about 300 million over a two year span.

Imagine what this State could do with an extra 150 million dollars .

That kind of money could be back in to HEALTH CARE and EDUCATION.

The prison system here in Louisiana has drained our economy for too long.

Prison is needed to house individuals whose conscience lacks the ability to feel remorse for the crime(s) that he and/or she has committed.

Those kind of sick, depraved and possibly dangerous individual needs to be locked away to ensure the safety of the general public.

Contrarily a reformed and rehabilitated individual should have the opportunity to prove his and/or her life’s reformation and rehabilitation by being placed on this type of program.

The inmate cannot live a normal life as a free man and/or woman while placed on this program, because he and/or her she will not actually be free.

Any violation of the programs rules would send him and/or her back to prison.

The only difference is that he and/or she will be generating money back into society instead of being a burden on society’s tax payers.

Its also an INJUSTICE for the victim to spend their tax dollars to keep their assailant(s) locked up while their children suffer from Inadequate Schooling and other loved ones go through the turmoil of unaffordable HEALTH CARE.

JUSTICE is these reform and rehabilitated inmates paying their own debt to society while showing on a daily basis that they are changed people who are sorry for the wrong of the past.

This program is logical, ethical and what is right.

It is time for the citizens of Louisiana to come together and let our elected officials know that we have found a solution to our economic debacle.

A solution that could help us save close to 300 million dollars after two (2) year span.

We owe it to our children, we owe it to our State, we owe it to the victims and most of all we owe it to ourselves.

The Pilot Program is our solution for the future

Cordially

The Forgotten men, lifers without parole.
