This story happened 4 years ago. After coming home from school, my younger sister rushed into my room and trembling told me: "So terrible, terrible". "what?" I asked, and she just said: "There's a cat at the front door next to our house. Go see it yourself." I did what she said and was startled at a horrible scene of a blind cat: his eye holes were covered with blood, wide opened and empty, his eyes had been taken out. The cat was sitting quavering and silent, he must have been so scared. And what a shame of me, I didn't know or dare to do anything, because I was frozen to see that. I didn't know why someone could do that to a cat, maybe he had just stolen a fish from someone's kitchen, or someone just did that for fun. I didn't dare to touch the cat, I was afraid... Now looking back, I feel I was so coward. I didn't know what happened next to the cat, an old woman in my block took him home, and I never saw him again. Although 4 years have passed, I still can't forget that cat, with his bloody opened eyes.

My obsession for cats...
I've been in love with cats ever since I was born. To me, cats're the most beautiful things in this world because we have pretty people and ugly people, but all cats are pretty. I love stroking the velvety fur of a cat, hugging and even kissing it. Now I can't remember how many cats have I been kissing. When I was very small, about 4 years old, my family did raise a white and yellow cat, but not for long. Until I was 10 years old, my family raised a cat again, this time a black and white one. I loved him, loved him a lot. I used to make him wear necklaces, which I thought were lovely, and he had several nearly-dead experiences with those necklaces. I remember when my uncle had just brought him home, he was skinny with a long neck, and was having diarrhea! But after a few months of raising, with numerous fish and chickens, he became a strong smart cat who enjoyed flirting with the old female cat in the neighborhood. But that was also the time he went away... One day, he left never to come back. All my family was pretty sure that he had been kidnapped, to be stolen for "small tigers" restaurants. Many people don't know that there are a lot of those restaurants and cats thieves in Vietnam and almost every Vietnamese household which has raised cats, has lost cats. And that was also the first time I cried for losing something very, very important to me. I tried to seem indifferent and calm, but cried every night during the following week. I cursed all cats thieves to death and all "small tiger" restaurants to go bankrupt... But nothing can bring my cat back to me...
