hey, remember that sad movie "SILENT Running"? 
It's been reversed,
and our asses are gonna be the ones doing the running.

I thought this little sentence made 1 of the main points
fairly strong :::

remember, trees are the Earth's filter
for taking
carbon dioxide from the air
& turning it into clean, breathable air.
hhhhmmmm......

 buy an inventor in Florida who converted water to fuel his car as well as burn as heating in standard welding fuel mixtures.

"Pacific Ethanol Shares Surge Ahead of Bush Speech

LOS ANGELES - Pacific Ethanol Inc shares surged to a fresh all-time
high for a second straight day on Tuesday, on expectations that US
President George W. Bush will highlight petroleum-alternative ethanol
fuel in his State of the Union speech that evening.
Trading volume for the stock reached 4.15 million, a daily record
since its debut on Nasdaq last March. That is more than double its
previous volume record set on Monday.

Pacific Ethanol shares also got a boost from news on Tuesday that the
company received commitments for up to $34 million of debt financing
from Hudson United Bank and Comerica Bank to construct the first of
five ethanol plants in California.

Ethanol is a corn-based fuel hailed by environmentalists as an
alternative to the earth's dwindling supply of petroleum.

Microsoft Corp. founder and Chairman Bill Gates' investment firm
Cascade Investment had already agreed late last year to provide $84
million of funding in exchange for one-quarter of the stock of
Fresno, California-based Pacific Ethanol.

The stock rose as high as $19.14, before closing up $4.19, or 28.6
percent, at $18.83 on Nasdaq. The stock is up about 54 percent from
Friday's close.

Bush is expected to highlight plans to double the production of
ethanol by 2012, as part of energy legislation he signed into law
last August, to about 7.5 billion gallons (180 million barrels).

In an interview with CBS News anchor Bob Schieffer last week, Bush
said his State of the Union address will feature plans for "new
technologies" to produce more ethanol.

Pacific Ethanol is converting a former grain mill into an ethanol
plant in Madera County in California, which will open in the fourth
quarter of 2006 and have the ability to produce 35 million gallons
(830,000 barrels) a year of ethanol.

This is the first of five plants that Pacific Ethanol is planning in
California, capable by 2008 of making 200 million gallons (4.8
million barrels) of ethanol.

A large conventional oil refinery of about 200,000 barrels per day
crude distillation can make about 95,000 barrels of gasoline a day,
or about 35 million barrels (1.5 billion gallons) a year.

Hudson United Bancorp., based in Mahwah, New Jersey, is one of the
state's largest banks.

Comerica Inc. is a regional US Midwest bank based in Detroit.

Victory! CPUC Approves $3.2 Billion Solar Program

On January 12, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approved the
California Solar Initiative (CSI),
committing a combined $3.2 billion in incentive funds to drive consumers toward solar power over the next 11 years.
The CSI is designed to provide rebates for homeowners, businesses, farmers and government projects investing in rooftop solar.
