BOOK DESCRIPTION The Arians in "Kill the Messenger: Gemini", are in a rush to build space ships so that they can leave the Earth before the return of Ra or the destruction of the Earth by human ignorance or by their warring ancestors. The Arians deceive the humans by allowing them to think that the machines they help to create are for them when in fact the space shuttles are for Arians only. The decision has already been made by the Heavenly visitors including Gemini whose mission is to save only a few. Humans cannot be allowed to leave the Earth and spread to other planets where there are any life forms. After living among humans as one of them, Gemini knows how to get the final message across in her own way with no regrets. In "Kill the Messenger: Gemini", Gemini is a woman who was born into the world for a purpose and with a mission. She does not remember why because she was hit on the head as a child and suffered amnesia. The struggle comes because with the loss of her memory, she must understand and follow the same signs as other humans who want to be saved before the end of humanity. Adding to the chaos is Lucifer her brother. His desire is to impregnate and mislead Gemini so that she will become one of his followers. He sensed her presence the day she came to Earth. If he cannot discover the reason she is here or bend her to his will, then he will kill her.The story is based on Gemini's experiences in her human body on Earth, as well as what she learns about humanity that will lead to its destruction. In every line she explores racism, human sexuality and other realities about this world. She learns the power of the flesh and the power with which Lucifer controls the world. What keeps her going is the compassion in her heart for humans and the belief that somehow, someway, she can do something for those who hope for a different existence than that which Lucifer has to offer.

About the Author
AUTHORS BIOGRAPHY Johanna Nimley lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is the first book she has written. She plans to write additional books related to "Kill the Messenger:Gemini"."Kill the Messenger: Gemini" is the work of a furtive imagination that has reached out into the universe in search of the answer to the question everyone asks, "Where did we come from?" Even though science and archeology are in a heated rush trying to answer that question, Johanna doesn't believe it will be answered in her lifetime-if ever. Meanwhile, Johanna uses her imagination to deal with the unanswered question in her own way. Also, in a world full of books and words, Johanna uses the least amount of words to convey an age old message.Johanna has been a science fiction fan since childhood. She enjoys movies and books with a science fiction theme.

Heavenly Expectations

Heaven is like a puzzle

where all pieces meet.

What comes together

fulfills our ultimate need.

It is the music, dance, art, and

poetry we cannot understand.

Like bathing in the perfume of a garden

with all it's fertile land.

I will be a texture, a fragrance,

a magnificent glow,

with an illuminating appearance,

complementing the whole.

Echoes of the Distant Past

Sounds of distant years

form vibrations in my ears.

They bring echoes from life behind

and impress memories in my mind.

Hearts tingle in succession

and flood my body with emotion

at the presence of an event or friend

real or imagined again and again.

The Spirit wails and wails

in search of twice-told tales

filling empty spaces with similarity

of a past life seen with clarity.

Will my life in the course of time

repeat itself like poetry in rhyme?

Or find a new path to take

that NO ONE, but I, can imitate.

Healing"

Product Description
The Path into Healing is a model for healing through the feminine side of the soul. The purpose of this book is to outline a process whereby a person can understand and acquaint him or herself with an aspect of our awareness often neglected in our world today. Much of the emphasis in our world is on what a person can achieve without regard to how these achievements affect the world and the people living in these achievements. The Path into Healing is an attempt to give acknowledgment to the inner qualities of living that our outer world thrusts upon us. Just think for a moment what a child does and says when he/she gets hurt. They want their mommy. Why is it that when we are hurt, we look to the feminine soul to give us strength and direction. On September 11, 2001, the first thing we did when New York City was bombed was to turn inside ourselves in prayer, for direction, and for hope beyond our external world being destroyed around us. This inward look into a world that is with us throughout our life is a womb like state of being. Inside us is an incredible source of strength and energy capable of nurturing a dying person through death, helping us rebuild what is destroyed in our external world, and transforming the most drastic event into a presence of peace. Thus is the world of the feminine spirit.
