We are living in a time when the imaginative thoughts of people are given full reign unlike any other time in our history. Tommy Taylor has taken his free thoughts to imaginative levels one can only say is inspired to stretch the hearts and minds of theologians everywhere.

The thought of Christ entering our world through cloning is more than a possibility. Even if science makes the slightest mistake in the remaking of the Christ story, there will be some who believe and those who do not believe. Such is the case in any story fabalized into society. People will take the story to places where their own interpretations can be accepted and use their personalities to challenge the beliefs of others for their own agenda.

For the last 2,000 years, our world has taken the first virgin birth to relate to or engage in conflicts to mediate his or her own personality seeking manifestation in the world of form. Why would this book be any different? I believe it would be more than facinating to live in a time where the events spoke of in this fictional story became a nonfictional reality. I can't help from wonder though who would be crucified first. Would it be the second coming of Jesus or his mother?

This book is one that should be read by anyone and those going into ministry. It is a book needed to be taken seriously by considering it's premises as a wonderful work of art expanding the hearts and minds of those who read it.

Son of the Great River

"Son of the Great River" describes two boys coming of age in the early Bronze Age. This novel begins to intensify the moment a stranger from the south dies in Saffu's arms. He leaves his tribe and travels to the land of cities and kings.

I noticed how death awakened something inside these young boys. It motivated them to go on the adventure of a lifetime, and not, let death take this away from them. Each lived their lives authentically and uniquely. They followed the path their heart's craved within their soul.

This book is masterfully put together to give inspiration to and motivation to anyone who has not decided to take their own journey into the heart and soul of human existence. As you read this book, you will find yourself asking the questions: Am I living authentically? Am I living the life of my dreams? Am I really following my heart? If not, why not?

In the beautiful land of Bellager a young boy named David shares a passion for leaf collecting. During his childhood years his grandfather Edward shares an interesting set of stories about Bellager's history. While many believe the stories are created by Edward's great imagination, Edward believes them as true.

As David grows into a young man, an unexpected enemy rises from the past. Evil forces invade the once peaceful land. David and his dear friends: Jonathan, Peter and Grace go on a quest in search for a miraculous leaf and the Great Tree of Wisdom that his grandfather had mentioned in his stories. It is this unique leaf that gives the people the hope of restoring peace in Bellager.

"Chronicles of the Undead" transports the reader into the realm of London vampires between the years of 1793 and 1826. Written in diary format, author A. F. Stewart masterfully reveals the quest of three generations of the Harrington family to record their interactions with the undead.

Samuel Harrington begins the diary entries on April 26, 1793, when new neighbors move in. Upon meeting Henri Forain and his cousin, Eleanor de Burgh, Samuel immediately strikes a friendship with Henri. Their relationship is forged by the number of common interests they share. It begins as an enjoyable encounter, but when Samuel discovers certain truths about his new friend, the situation takes a turn.

Samuel descends into a darker, far more sinister realm than he thought imaginable. Too enthralled by his new knowledge, he discards the things he has held dear throughout his life and begins a new evil existence. It isn't long before Samuel pulls those he formally loved most into his menacing acts as unwilling victims.

Samuel's son, Edmund and later Edmunds' daughter Charlotte take up the quest to stop the evil that has destroyed their family.

Without one line of dialogue and with an exquisite command of the written word, Stewart has created memorable, well-rounded, developed characters and has painted an intriguing and highly entertaining dark tale that kept this reader turning one page after another. "Chronicles of the Undead" is akin to "Interview with a Vampire" in its classy depiction of vampires and the twists and turns that influence the characters' lives.

When the writing shines as is the case of A. F. Stewart, genre is never an issue. Whether you enjoy fantasy or not, "Chronicles of the Undead" is a must read and is guaranteed to hold the reader's attention from the innocent beginning to its deadly end. I definitely look forward to more from author A. F. Stewart.

 Front Cover

This is a children's book focusing on grief and loss. The story is about a little fish named Ed who goes through a series of losses but discovers inner strength as he learns to cope in his new world.  The storyline and message in this little book is so heartwarming and sincere.  The author focuses on interpreting the pain and loss associated with death and grief in a simple and direct way, so that children have an understanding of what they?re going through. You can honestly tell this story came straight from the author?s heart! The counseling experience Sam has really lends a tender guiding hand in this work.  He has also incorporated sections for parents or counselors to discuss the book and write notes as well as sections for the children to write or draw their thoughts and feelings.  It is truly an amazing work.

The adorable illustrations were drawn by Sam?s daughter Emilee and son Lucas, making this book even more special to the man who has dedicated his life to helping others.   The Oliver family currently resides in Ohio. Sam Oliver is a chaplain; currently working with the Hospice of Visiting Nurses in Akron Ohio.  He has written several other books dealing with self-help issues.

Runners to your mark, get set, go! When I was running track in high school, the sprinters lined up on the track to run a 100 yard dash. Each of them had one single focus and intention. They wanted to be the first one to cross the finish line before anyone else. This required unwavering attention inwardly and outwardly upon their goal because a single mistake could cost them the race.

When a person is engaged in accomplishing a goal, you have to set your mind and heart to the task at hand. Setting a goal to accomplish is a good start. Along the way there needs to be mini goals to keep you on track for your main goal. Setting goals keeps you focused. They make you follow through with your highest intention.

To see through your eyes what you cannot see with them is a good way to meet your goals in life. For example, take a pebble and throw it into a pond or lake. Watch the ripples move and spread out across the lake or pond. Then see how far you can follow the pebble as it makes its way to the bottom of the lake or pond. At some point, you will not be able to see where the pebble is going. This requires you to see through your eyes what you no longer can see with them. You know exactly where that rock went. It went to the very bottom. It landed on the foundation of what holds every bit of that pond together.

Your soul or your inner vision is just like this pond. When you chose to focus your attention on a particular intention or goal, you place your energy into life. Then, a ripple effect causes actions to take place across the pond or your life. Although none of us can predict our paths in life, we can always know where we are going. We are going to the Source. It is the foundation that holds all of life together.

How can you know what your focused intention is? What is your favorite hobby? Have your ever thought of making it your career? For instance, do you love golf and find yourself being a salesman? Then try to find a way to invest in or sell golf equipment. There are many ways to tap into your abundant thoughts and connect them to your interests. My hunch is that you will be glad you did. Out of your abundance or thoughts will come the riches of your life.

I know of one man who had a dream. He had a dream to become the next President of the United States of America. His dream was to make the playing field even for all Americans economically. His message was one of Hope. His focused intentions were to be in a position of living to fulfill his dream. He went all over the country to share his message of hope for all Americans. After 2 long years of campaigning, winning the Democratic nomination, running against the Republican nominee John McCain, on November 4, 2008, President Barack Obama saw his focused intentions manifest themselves into material reality. He made history by becoming the first black American President of our time.

Do you have a dream? What is it? Have you been focusing on this dream for years? Why not make it a reality? Put your dream into reality by making small goals you can attain one step at a time until you reach your ultimate focused intention. You will be glad you did. Insight is to see from within what you want to see in front of you. Stay true to your purpose in life. Know the reason why you are here. Then create meaning from your life by fulfilling you destiny.
