For hundreds of years we have been told that we must strive to fit our mold. We have our paths that other have laid..what about the one that I have made? Do my eyes being the color of blue see more than a pair of brown eyes do? Does the pigment in three layers of skin determine the intelligence that lies within? Two distict cultures with so much to prove, so strong, yet so afraid to move... towards eachother can you imagine the outcome? The world around us would crumble if we bacame one. One unit, joined together by a common goal to stop this hatred and break free from our molds.
To look at our past, see the pain, and still decide to move forward, there's so much to gain.Acknowladge eachother for our personal truth, stop the chain and teach this to our youth. Combat against those ones we love that are so filled with anger they can't rise above. Forgive our fellow travellers as we walk towards our destiny I know to be free this has to begin with me.
So here I stand with an open hand, asking you to take mine and we will form that line. We will form a blockade and we will stop the hate. All we have to do is change
