What a wonderful surprise yesterday was.  Most of the people I work with are more than 20 years my junior.  They are amazing and I learn so much from them as we get to know each other.  Yesterday, knowing I wouldn't see my son who lives in another town, they gave me flowers and took me out for dinner.  What a bunch!!!
When I got home, my son called and was thrilled that I had been given the kind of day he
would have like to have given me.
This morning, standing at the kitchen window, I was gifted by a cardinal coming to perch on the sill for a few seconds.  There are so many gifts in life when we pay attention.
And now, off to work.  Woke up early today, so am hoping everyone's in a good mood...I work at a drop-in centre for homeless folk and things can get a little unsettled at times.  But mostly, it's a great place to be...makes keeping one's priorities straight a lot easier!
Should you drop in, hope your day smiles back at you

Not sure what I'm doing here other than testing this out to see how it works.
It's a Saturday early evening, just finished dinner at the end of a rainy day.
Trying to decide what to do next and here I am.
I'll stop there and see where this ends up....on my Car2 page?
