I am somewhat surprised by something that has come to my notice.  I have seen my caring friends here (and this IS CARE2) sign petitions for animals and respond to calls for time-sensitive petitions really quickly - the numbers zip up in no time.  So,  WHY IS THIS PETITION, WHICH HAS HAD SOME PUSHING, LAGGING AT THIS DISAPPOINTING NUMBER?!?  Is 20 years not time-sensitive enough?  Do any of us know what it means to lose a loved one and not have that closure of, at the very least, knowing their fate.  This is a strongly emotional subject and I, as a mother, think I would rather know one of my children is dead than have to live on without knowing their fate - and I do not say this lightly!  Well, Ruth was not Debbie's child. she was her mother - BUT DEBBIE NEEDS CLOSURE TOO!  Is it too much to ask the attorney general to re-open the investigation?  If it were YOUR MOTHER what lengths would you go to to be heard and given a chance of knowing?!?  I know this is a bit aggressive but, for goodness sake, this is CARE2 AND NOBODY (OR NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE) SEEM TO CARE??????  Please, don't disappoint a person who came to this network with such high hopes.  PLEASE.
