 Panzer is a wolf/dog mix I rescued. I live in northeastern Pennsylvania and there are many abandoned anthracite mines here. Knowing Panzer will follow me anywhere, I once took him with us when we went exploring. He loves doing this and anyone would think he had been trained for years on how to behave in a mine. This is unusual because most dogs will not go into these mines. Panzer will lead the way. He stays with the group, is very careful where he steps and in case we got lost (which we never did) he can always find the fastest way out. These mines are like a maze. He dose not simply back track a scent trail, he seems to be able to sense air currents and can lead us out the most direct way even if we came in a longer and more roundabout way. He absolutely loves doing things like this. He gets to lead a "pack" of people through unfamilar territory. I have heard lots of stories from people with wolfdogs about how they are good climbers and jumpers, how intelligent they are and how they figure out ways to escape from their containment but I have not heard too much about anyone putting these talents to good use.

 Panzer is a wolfdog I rescued and he loves to go with us underground exploring abandoned anthracite mines in northeastern Pennsylvania. This is unusual because most dogs will not go into these mines but Panzer loves doing things like this.

 Miloh is a wolfdog I rescued. He is slightly smaller than most wolfdogs and may be part coyote.
