A story by a New York Times correspondent on the Cambodian Child Sex Brothels. Need I say more. I will be creating a petition soon to petition governments to step in to save these children. Please stay tuned to sign the petition once I have it created. Thank you

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME AND LEAVE ME YOUR NAME THAT I WILL SAVE FOR MY PETITIONS TO COME. I AM GATHERING MUCH DATA FIRST SO THAT THEY CANNOT REFUTE THE EVIDENCE. I HAVE ALOT ALREADY AND AM CLOSE TO BEING READY ! WE CANNOT HAVE PEACE WHILE CHILDREN AND TEENS ARE ENSLAVED IN THE SEX TRADE !
Let your light shine for the children. Once again I am reposting the light a candle for sexually assaulted, abused and exploited children. The link will be at the bottom of this blog. ~
Say a prayer, blessing or send positive thoughts to the children of love and caring. This is what they need not talk of killing and torture. That they have known too much of in this world already. You are right they are evil but please try not to sink to their level. Don't please let them drag you down even close to them. Just get determined to make a positive impact. Like joining Care2 and signing petitions too for one because they are fighting to change the laws and they will get somewhere someday. I just know it since they are starting to get through. There are many, many people in the world who are backing dramatic changes in the law. I have heard of a whole village of children who are prisoners just for pedophiles sickness urges. Just lock them up for life and let them think about what they have done and have them have to face it every day with professionals talking to them to make them face what they have done until they very possibly one day grow a conscience. I have no sympathy or pity or feel sorry for pedophiles an ounce at all. Some people tried to get me to and I started to try to fool myself but no way. They don't deserve it at all. But we don't have to be hatefilled and barbaric. We need to move into the future of this world not step back into the errors and barbarism of the past. We must protect our children above all and everything they are what is most important. We must educate them, how to handle what could maybe happen ~ sad as that is it is
necessary, for at least they will know what to do to get away and it will empower them and give them confidence in being not seen as bad, dirty, in the wrong or anything negative about themselves. Seriously people I have met a ton of survivors and read about them and seen programs too. My dear people we need to help to eradicate the problem not contribute to it. Do you see even a little what I mean. If we are to help our children into a better future then we must be the examples we set for them in non violence and that includes in talking patterns. No bullying ~ Zero tolerance should go both ways my dears to be truly zero tolerance. I used to want to lynch them and thought bad things too. Heck I am a survivor too. But I learned some things along the way. I think I was touched by an angel. One of my angels is my granddaughter and other children but she comes first, as she should. Let us join hands around our precious angels and guard them with strength and courage and good will with the thought of a better world for them in the future where they can feel safe from all violence. It is not impossible if more and more and more people continue to join hands around the world and we keep practicing it until we get it right. There always is a movement going on. Well there is a huger movement than ever has been. Encourage your friends, challenge them to see how well they can do, encourage them to see how many friends and family they can help to convince that this would the best gift we could possibly give our children for the future. Do it at your school, your work, your athletic club, your team sport, your club and anywhere just by spreading a kind word that takes a moment to a stranger. Go out and bring the homeless a spare blanket, a pair of mitts, socks, long underwear, warm old shirts and don't forget the youths of the homeless they are not all punks as some have said to me. Who cares why they are on the street well I do because I was there when I was a youth too. I know what it is like. I wasn't there because I really wanted to be I was there because of abuse. Most are. Some leave yes because they don't just like authority but for most there is a very good reason and they are attacked by predators too people. Please help any way you can. Make it one big huge Christmas gift to the world. Some people think just marches and good thoughts will create peace but that is awesome only it doesn't work that way we have to work for it do we not. What big good thing that is worth alot doesn't take alot of work. We are on the brink of a great new era where so many want to have this and for the children's future. Do you realize the bigger majority of the world wants this but all people are different so we have to learn to live and work together for it with a peaceful extended hand. Reach out to a neighbor who you have fought with, a classmate, and even if it wasn't your "fault" do it anyway. Say something like look I am sorry that this has happened between us and do you think we could start over and at least have some kind of starting ground of respect for each other. You live your life and I live mine let's agree to disagree at least or something you think of that you feel suits the situation. Peace people is the answer not violence. I used to be somewhat on the other side I like this side better. I feel better and less stressed by far. I am happier and more free than I have ever been in my life. Have a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year. More peace starting in 2010 are you up for the challenge. It is hard to be mad and it is easy to be glad !!!
There are a few other things you can do too. You can donate to the Invisible Youth Network a non-profiit organization on Care2 who have helped and supported many homeless and at risk youths. With even a few dollars a month if many do this it will add up to quite alot. That is less than we pay to buy one coffee but all that would mean so very much in the life of a homeless and at risk youth. I encourage you to give some serious thought to doing this and I promise you that you will be happy you did knowing you are helping to make more of a positive change in the world in the lives of youths who will be more grateful than you can know. Here is the url that will bring you right to the Helping Hand for the Invisible Youth Network. I invite you to join us in helping and doing what we can in our own ways to help the homeless and at risk youths. Please forward this to your friends and family and reach out a hand in that way to help these youth in such great need. Here is the link to the IYN here at Care2
Homeless and at risk youths need your help desperately. By taking a little time to download a safe and secure toolbar every search, etc, genterates a little donation by sponsors. This does not give your info to them. If you scroll down there are banners, logos, badges that you can put on your profile. This also helps generate even larger amounts of donations when you shop online depending on how much you spend. Please help the homeless and at risk youth with such a little thing to do. Here is the id number for the Invisible Youth Network ~ 858617. They already have helped many but they still have not been able to help as many as they can because that takes alot of funds and funding they don't have from the government. This would also help to open more of these support groups across the country. Please if you could pass this on to family and friends it would really be appreciated and I know the youths will appreciate it too. There are over a million youths who are homeless and at risk youths in the US at this time much more than people realize. Please have compassion for these youths they need good people like you's to care. Thank you much in advance for doing this for the youths who are in desperate need.
Also, every time you shop online at 1,000 participating stores including Amazon, eBay, Target, Apple, Staples, Expedia, etc., a percentage of your purchase will be donated for free! The site also has thousands of money-saving coupons!
To give you a sense of how the money can add up, the ASPCA has already earned more than $30,000!
Please tell friends and family about the GoodSearch toolbar today. They've been featured in the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Oprah Magazine, Good Morning America and more.
Help Us To Ask The President and State Representatives For The Creation of a " Youth Outreach Day"
Who says that you can't say "Thank God it's Monday!" just as much as you can say "Thank God it's Friday!"--especially, if you've started the week off right by signing this wonderful petition to make the second Saturday of every October Youth Outreach Day!
Go here to read about it, and--if you like what you see--please sign! You can merely sign, but, if you have something nice to say, your words would also be appreciated.
You might even want to include your picture. Who knows!?!
Anyway, I hope to find your signature over there. Our goal is to collect a minimum of 1000 signatures before sending it on to President Obama.
You don't have to, but, if you want to share this with your friends, it would be highly appreciated!!!
Let's get this ball rolling like it's going down a bowling lane to make a strike!!!
We all take time for leisure activities, having fun and spending time with friends. Which is good and healthy for us. Everyone also has the capability to help eradicate world poverty. Today is World Poverty Day but the reality is that every day is world poverty day in the lives of those who suffer and who are dying because of it. Everyone needs their leisure times to laugh and have a good time. There comes a time though that we should think of others who are alot less fortunate than we are. The world becomes a better place with each step towards helping others in the cause of helping to eliminate world poverty and there is more yet to be done. They need people who care like I know you all probably do. These people need alot more people to care still. You can make a change in the world ! Will you be that person to help make a difference?
People are suffering from poverty including homelessness, malnutrition and dying from extreme poverty everyday in the world. I won't give you the statistics but you all know this to be true. All of these people need your help and all poverty needs to be eradicated by all of us who have the means to help even if is with a small donation of even as much as $10. It is not a drop in the bucket as some people say because all those drops add up and the bucket overflows and keeps overflowing as more people give a little every month ! We the people can do more in helping in eliminating poverty. I will speak of more ways in future blogs. Although I am sure many of you know of most ways already there are some new innovative ways people are unaware of that I have heard of some but I need to learn more about them myself. I will be doing research on the new ways to help and what it involves.
For those of you who stand for world peace and non-violence. For those of you who care about others in the world. For those of you who already do a fair amount or alot to help others. I would just like you to take the time to read about some of the suffering, problems, issues and pain of all the many children and adults who suffer in the world because of poverty.
Stand up, speak out and help towards eradicating world poverty. Talk about it with your friends and family that to do even a little would help alot. It would be like a ripple effect growing more and more to help the people of the world. When more and more do that & show they care about all the suffering. A great woman Mother Teresa who cared very much for the suffering of others was a friend of Gandhi. She also believed and prayed for world peace, non-violence and the easing of the children and people of the world. I have also read about alot of the humanitarian work she did for a very huge amount of people. She took care and went to people that others wanted to just leave to suffer and die. I won't quote her exact words but she said there will be no real peace in the world until there is no hunger and the people in need are cared for by the world's people. She said if there is no peace it is because we have forgotten that we belong to one another. My opinion as well is that most of us think of people as different races, different nations and even some of the other countries own people where there is war that also causes poverty and hunger as well as death, injuries, lifelong inner and physical scars, suffering, grief, loss of hope, anguish and despair. This is also caused by extreme poverty, hunger and malnutrition. If we are going to work for peace and campaign for peace and non-violence we also need to stand up, speak out and support the cause of the eradication of poverty. We cannot just turn a blind eye to the world's suffering and say we stand for peace and non-violence in every way without peacefully and faithfully supporting this important cause as well. I am sure many of you already are doing what you can to help others in this way but if there are any who are not I very much encourage you to join in this important cause as well so that we are working in all ways for true world peace and non-violence in all ways. Something else some people do not consider at times is that poverty or extreme poverty causes people to become angry, frustrated and act out at times violently. They are suffering so much emotionally and psychologically as well that it at times causes them to become violent. If they were not suffering from hunger, malnutrition and knowing people care about their suffering enough to do all they can and end it they would not become violent. This has been proven to be the a fact by experts who have studied this very problems in ghettos, slums and third world countries for many years. I am not condoning violence I am merely saying that there is a cause and effect going on that is a part of the problem and for some the only problem that causes them to act out in violence. The world leaders know this, the United Nations know this and their own country's decision makers know this too. But they are not doing enough and in some countries they are turning their backs on the poverty stricken people. I have seen so many programs about it I know there are huge numbers of people begging their government officials and decision makers for help and being turned away. Their governments have at least the means to begin to help their people but they are being cold-hearted and cruelly turning them away. Then they go home and eat to their stomachs are full. While another large part of the population lives well and in plenty of cases in luxury. I think that is the most heartless behaviour of governments who have the means to help and don't. Or are helping but not enough. If they were to plan properly with the people in need in mind and spend as little on even the government expense accounts they would have more money to help with children and people who live in poverty. They need to learn that to solve a problem as violence caused by poverty then they need to do what is right and eliminate the poverty even more because they have the means they are just holding out and not doing as much as they can. It is an extremely important cause the peace and non-violence cause but let us not leave behind the people who are suffering so while we are doing this. We should be working on both causes at the same time because the deserve and have a right to peace and non-violence too those who suffer so much. I know you all feel that way too already but as I said we need to support both causes at the same time if we are to be a movement for peace and non-violence for all people in the world. Please join in helping to eliminate world poverty !
Sorry everyone for the short notice but I only just found this on facebood yesterday from someone sending me an invite. I have so many groups, causes and issues I am involved with here it slipped my mind to let you all know. Maybe next year we can do something special for it. Tomorrow let us take time to think of all the children, youths and adults who suffer world wide because of poverty. In some places as you know they are dying from malnutrition. I myself sponsor a child in Africa which also helps his family and I am so happy to. If we can encourage more and more people do this as well there wouldn't be anyone dying in the world because of hunger due to extreme poverty. The heartbreaking stories of what they do to survive are numerous and I pray for them as well. I also pray that more people will sponsor children in extreme poverty all over the world. When I phoned about sponsoring they asked me if I wanted a boy or a girl and I said that isn't the most important thing to me whether I sponsor a boy or girl I care about them all so just choose a child for me since they are all in great need of help. Take care everyone and even light a candle for all the children and youths in the world who are suffering from poverty, as well as adults, and that includes the homeless children, youths and adults. Peace, Ariel PS: For anyone who is on facebook I encourage you to go sign to join the group by tonight if possible but tomorrow for sure and show your support. They only want people on the group to sign and show support in that way for right now too so it gets a message out about world poverty. Thanks everyone and have a great day. Here is the link to take you right to the group.
"The campaign to make poverty history-a central moral challenge of our age-cannot remain a task for the few, it must become a calling for the many. On this International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, I urge everyone to join this struggle. Together, we can make real and sufficient progress towards the end of poverty."
Please stand up for women all over the United States, and women everywhere, by letting these seemingly uncaring state representitives know how you feel about their voting against such an important amendment. Actually we need to try to give them a shake that all issues that affect human lives is important to the majority and all of us who speak out for human rights. The amendment for protecting women and their right to prosecute the company that did not uphold their right to be protected from sexual predators who sexually abuse and/or rape them. The amendment will also protect women from sexual harassment that is also damaging and traumatic for women to have to endure. Far too many women are suffering silently and they don't feel confident that something will be done so they don't report it.I have read alot about this and watched programs as well. It is also very degrading for women to suffer such acts which makes it hard for them to feel confident in reporting what happened. Systems and people all through society have made women feel like they were to blame somehow, that they did something to deserve it, that they should of dressed differently or acted differently. When the truth is that the women are the victims and then are victimized more by such attitudes only compounding their trauma and suffering. Well I will leave you all with asking you to please show you care about women suffering from workplace sexual violence and harassment by taking a few minutes to sign this petition, if you have time leave a brief comment and forward this to everyone on your friends list, as well as relatives and friends off our website. Let's show women everywhere they matter to us at Care2. Thank you. Peace, Ariel
PS: The amendment did pass but just barely. We need to send a strong message to these kind of state representatives that there are alot of people who care and will speak up for what is right. I thought it best to forward what is in the petition letter for more interest and impact.I intend to send letters to their offices myself. With a few links to websites on the subject and one where men have a site that supports women's rights to live without violence. Women are speaking out more than ever for themselves and shedding the veil of shame, blame and feelings of worthlessness that society had thrown over them along with alot of societies systems too. I say you go girls stand up and be counted as beautiful women with the right to a good life in all ways. No more bull of the olden days that " you don't air your dirty laundry " That is how women were made to feel was like they were dirty and they were and are the victims and are blameless no matter what someone else says.
Call Out 30 GOP Senators Who Voted Against Rape Victims
On October 7, 30 Republican senators opposed an amendment to the Defense Appropriations bill that would prohibit defense contractors like Halliburton/KBR from getting federal money "if they restrict their employees from taking workplace sexual assault, battery and discrimination cases to court."
Senator Al Franken introduced the amendment to the appropriations bill to prevent a complete disregard for the rights of rape victims after hearing the story of a Halliburton/KBR employee who claimed she was gang raped but her employment contract prevented her from taking legal action.
Ten GOP Senators voted for the amendment, and it passed -- but the 30 others must know how outraged we are that they didn't vote for giving legal rights to rape victims! These senators are: Alexander (R-TN), Barrasso (R-WY), Bond (R-MO), Brownback (R-K, Bunning (R-KY), Burr (R-NC), Chambliss (R-GA), Coburn (R-OK), Cochran (R-M, Corker (R-TN), Cornyn (R-TX), Crapo (R-ID), DeMint (R-SC), Ensign (R-NV), Enzi (R-WY), Graham (R-SC), Gregg (R-NH), Inhofe (R-OK), Isakson (R-GA), Johanns (R-NE), Kyl (R-AZ), McCain (R-AZ), McConnell (R-KY), Risch (R-ID), Roberts (R-K, Sessions (R-AL), Shelby (R-AL), Thune (R-SD), Vitter (R-LA) and Wicker (R-M.
If you are a constituent of one of these senators, we'll send your letter directly to him. If your senators both voted for the amendment, we'll send your letter to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell -- who also voted against it and leads the GOP in the Senate. Sign today!
This was submitted by a member on a Human Rights Group and I am sharing it with all of you to ask if you could please take a few minutes to sign the petition and help this family.
CHILDREN NEED THERE DADDY PLEASE HE IS A WONDERFUL FATHER
He is 28 years of age and has been married since April of 2006 to my wonderful cousin Keri and she is 34 years of age. They have two beautiful girls and one more on the way. Chino works a full time job, pays taxes and always puts his family first. If Chino is sent back to Mexico then Keri will not be able to support the 3 kids on her own and will have to go on food stamps, medical card and will lose her house. It makes more since to let Chino stay in the US and provide for his family. Please support our family to keep Chino in our family.
Personally I think the government makes it far to difficult for people to move to a new country. I could understand some procedures being in place but why it should be so difficult just seems unfair to me and not giving people the freedom and right to move to a new country. We are all one race, the human race, and we all live in the same world that should be shared freely with respect for others and their rights. Thank you in advance if you are going to sign the petition. Children should not have to suffer and go without their father because of government red tape.
Social services often ends up returning a child to their abuser both in Canada, US and the UK. Well probably everywhere this happens all too often where they fail to save the children who should not be returned in the first place. When in the heck are they going to actually do their job and protect these beautiful children. I have met many people who have said children were left in abusive homes even when it was clear it was really bad or the abusers were good liars. People who care about children need to get more involved than just reporting seeing abuse. We need to petition the government for changes to protect children better. I have also seen many stories like this and believe it or not even worse in the news, news online and child advocate sites. I have heard and met many people where there were lies reported to sociall services because someone had a personal wish to cause trouble for someone and did it just cause trouble. Sometimes there was really no reason they just for no real reason didn't like the parents and had something obviously not right in their head so they do such a horrible thing to an innocent family. I have heard of this happening through word of mouth and seen some on tv and internet stories. I can't believe someone would be so sick as to not care that good families are being broken apart. The poor children that are torn away from innocent and really good parents. One couple on the news was paying alot of money to have a private investigation done and all kinds of experts paid to try to help them because social services were fighting them in returning the children. One thing I have learned about alot of social services workers is they don't always care if things are done right they only care about their own personal opinion and if they are challenged they will fight against good parents. Another story I know of that was horrible for them to do was taking away a large group of disabled children from their families because the government refused to help with the tremendous costs in their care for their children. The government didn't like being bugged about it so they reported them to social services and told them to remove the children from the home if they couldn't afford to care for them and that is what social services did. But get this part - Then the government paid for all the expenses needed by the parents in the first place to a foster family. What the heck does that even make sense to any of you. So stupid. These children were well cared for and loved very much by their families. They protested for a long time outside the local social services and I talked to some of them and that is how I know the story. They told me they had no problem proving they were good parents and social services said that was not a concern they acknowledged that they were. It took them a few months but they did have their children returned to them with the funding they needed and a big apology. Well they had already traumatized the children, the parents and the rest of the family members and relatives an apology is nice but it doesn't help erase the trauma those children and their siblings went through. It bothers me when I talk about the mistakes that cause so much suffering for innocent children, poor sweethearts. I love children and it really touches my heart to know children suffer because of really bad people and really bad social workers. Personally I think alot of us should petition the governments to monitor the social services so that so many children will have a much better chance for a better life. There are many really good people who can't have children who would love to take a child into their home and give them all the love and caring they need and deserve. I pray for these children the poor little sweethearts my heart just aches for them. This video made me cry, they all do. God bless them all and everyone who is trying to make changes happen for these beautiful children. I have tried to help children when I knew there was abuse by doing what they say to do is report it. Only once years ago were the children taken away. The other ones were left in their abusive homes to continue to suffer because the parent or parents were good liars. We need to start a petition for the children for change in the social service system and with laws to be changed to life without parole on first offence. I am going to start working on that this week it is such a heartache for me to know this is not changing when I think of all the children who are still suffering out there and could be saved by a system that is supposed to protect them and doesn't too much of the time. Even one child not helped is one too many.
Sorry everyone I had alot to say because this is something that has bothered me for years. Hearing and seeing so much either personally, through someone else, on tv news, online news and child advocate sites. One of the hardest things I have ever witnessed was being at someone's house when they went into a rage and beat their children mercilessly in front of me. Of course I stopped them as quickly as I could but the children were badly hurt before I could get the abuser to stop since it had started before I got there. I was a neighbor and could hear the 3 children screaming so I went over and yes I did report it and the woman lost her children. Thank God.
