The new Pixar movie Wall-E is not just about a story of love on robots, but it can teach us on something we are dealing with today in life: GLOBAL WARMING & the ENVIROMENT. (as in, saving the planet, becoming green, and keeping the world shiny clean).

That, I just realized when I went to the movies with my mom and my little sister because we were bored at the house. I thought the movie would be boring. But it definetly taught me a lesson.

Wall-E is a robot living all by himself in planet Earth. The planet is covered in trash, litter, dirt, and there was no human in sight. It's the year 2775. And the humans escaped Earth and currently take shelter at the Axiom spaceship outer space, because the enviorment and the conditions were horrible for the humans.

There, Wall-E meets a visiting futuristic robot named Eve, and falls in love with her. Eve came to earth to see what it was like now since the humans escaped and evacuated Earth. Wall-E was scared to meet her, but eventually Eve gets to know him. Wall-E finds a growing plant and shows it to Eve, and automatically shuts down. Leaving Wall-E thinking that she died.

A day later and the spaceship that dropped off Eve came back to pick her up, and Wall-E followed the unconsious Eve. The spaceship traveled towards the Axiom Spaceship...where the humans are currently staying for the past 700 years.

Wall-E followed everywhere Eve was taken, and he finds humans living in paradise...and in obesity. Even the captain lives in obesity. Eve, now cured, was taken by the captain to examine the unknown plant Wall-E found. That plant could be a sign that the Earth is now a safe place to live again.

Some robots are not happy with the captain's declaration of returning to planet Earth. They decided to destroy the plant so the Humans would change their minds. It was up to the good robots, Wall-E, Eve and the captain to save the plant before plans change by the evil robots.

The plant was saved, and the Axiom spaceship returned to Planet Earth in a matter of 10 seconds. Obesed humans are now able to walk again after years of not walking. The humans now realize that the Earth is now a safe place to live, just that they need to start conserving it like they had it before 700 years ago.

In the end, humans start planting multiple plants and cleaned the city, now, they have learned a valuable lesson about conserving the earth and the planet by keeping it clean.

I just think...what if that would happen to us? Let's just say that it's the year 2090 and the Earth would be all trashy and it won't be a very good place to live? And that we would have to live in a spaceship outer space and eat nothing but junk food and won't be able to walk again? We would be able to gain ten times the weight today.We would throw twice the trash and throwing the Planet away. PEOPLE!!! Wake up!!! It's better to Save the planet. It's never too late to start today. The Earth needs your help. Don't ignore this...it can happen.

Life…

Ok…I’m just here at home, watching Abrams and Bettes on my TiVO. I just want to write about what I’m doing right now. I know  that this blog I’m writing…no one will read it because you’ll think it’s sooo boring… ha ha ha.

Well, as some of you may all know…I became an auntie and an older cousin in a matter of 2 days. Madison Marie Carrera became my niece on May 27, and Ana Marisol Cabello, became my new little cousin on the 30^th. That I realize that life is so powerful.

Why? I mean, I am now realizing that life is just special…even when people say, “OMG, I HATE LIFE!!! I WANNA DIE!!!” Because people like that…aren’t living what they are living for. (That’s why I dropped the “emo” label. Skye, if you are reading this…you are right. EMO is just not a word. Emo is nothing.). And I think life is just telling me that I must take what’s about to give me. For example, I am ready to take the challenge of going to summer school this year for the next 3 weeks. I am ready to face the move to Mexicali in July. I am ready to make my dreams come true. By the time I receive my diploma, life is now against me.

What’s life doing to me right now? Great. I just turned into a Vegetarian. I can’t eat meat anymore. And some of my friends think that I will forget being a vegetarian in 2 weeks. I mean, HELLO. If I eat meat, I get those painful stomach aches and I just can’t move at all. So my mom told me, “Ay, Anita, you are turning into a vegetarian. You gotta stop eating carne asada.” Ok…And I gotta avoid what I’m eating at school, too, because lately at work, I am getting painful stomach aches. And pretty much on one day, I didn’t go at all because of that.

Speaking of work, this Friday, I end my era at BW. I am saddened to say. I do learned a lot over there and I would like it to be my new job. NOOO!!! ( I know, Lebriia, you do feel the same thing, too.)

I have this feeling that maybe this month, I will see Adam again. I don’t know. He said he will return to C-Town this weekend, and hopefully he will stay for the whole month. Hopefully…I just have to keep my fingers crossed…

This quote came in my head when what was a bright sunny morning in the 70’s turned stormy and windy in the 60’s. The weather in the morning seemed like it was going to be hot, but I got a feeling during tutorial that it was going to rain…I tried to ignore that feeling, until I saw raindrops on Ms. Uriarte’s  window. I mean, here, the weather in B-Town, is SO FREAKIN CRAZY. I mean, you can’t even predict the weather here. The weather changes dramatically. Comparing the weather to C-Town, C-Town has the BEST weather. Man, I wanna leave.

So…anyways, I want to update on my last Update. First off, my SCHOOL life.

I only have 2 more weeks of school left, so I am enjoying everything as I can. I am trying to save money for my yearbook! But if I don’t get a yearbook, I’ll create my own yearbook. Also, my ROP teacher is making my life aggravating!!! I know, man. The year is almost over and my teachers are pushing more work at me. I have a powerpoint presentation due next week, LOTS OF STUFF.

What else? My WORK life?

Same, also. But I have TWO more weeks of working in hectic conditions with my partner-in-crime Lebrilla. Will we resist…I mean, we are already good friends. I still miss Gracie! I know she is still wondering about how me and Adam are doing. I know she is DYING to hear.

My FAMILY life? What do ya think?

My great Aunt Guillermina is getting married this Saturday and I am so excited! I mean, I haven’t been that excited since my Uncle Roy got married during my 6^th grade year. It has been a loooong time since I attended a wedding. And the best part is…all of my mom’s side of the family will be going! Yay!! I get to see my cousins Manuel, Cindy, Ralphie, Viri, etcetera!! It’s like a family reunion and a wedding combined altogether.

Also, My Aunt Claudia, my cousin Handy’s mommy, will have her baby next week! I’m gonna be a big cousin, and Handy’s the big sister! It’s gonna be a girl and the baby will be named after me. (Just the first name, not the middle) She will be named Ana Marisol Cabello Garcia. I’m so excited. I feel like an auntie again. But in reality I am not.

One more thing…My LOVE life…

On May 20^th, it was the day my relationship with Adam turned 3 months now!! I am so amazed and so grateful. I mean, I just can’t believe I made it that far. We still talk to each other and we still send hugs and kisses to each other (it makes us blush…ha ha ha)

It seems like yesterday when my cat, Serafina, was just a little furrball!!! Almost the size of my hands.

Now, She's all grown up, she had her kittens, she had her first boyfriend, she had her first trip alone, she doesn't need mommy anymore.

Serafina's mom's owner told me that she was born on May 1st, and is the eldest of the 6 kittens. She is a desendent of my previous cat, Anastacia (R.I.P). She is the only calico in the family.

I chose her because she wanted to get out of the box so badly, I couldn't resist but to save her from the box. I fell in love with her small green eyes. Sometimes I wish I had her eyes. She grabbed my shirt with her sharp claws and hanged on.

It took me more than the whole day to choose a name for the little kitty. My mom wanted me to name her Fiona, but she's not green like her. I can't replace her with her sister, Anastacia, who died in a dog attack. One name popped in my head that I wanted to name her really badly: Serafina.

Serafina, in the name dictionary, defines her an "Angel". During a sudden thunderstorm, Serafina sleeps in her box like an angel in the sky.

On May 1st, 2008, Serafina turns 2 years old, and in June, she turns 2 years for being my daughter. I do consider her my daughter, and she will always be my daughter. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SERAFINA!!!
