To my dear friends,

As many of you are aware, I have a petition that I have been working on since September 2005. It now has over 3,000 signatures.

Free Missourian Stacey Lannert

This is Stacey and a dog named Gigi. She works with dogs in a prison project.

I believe that in addition to the petition, it is going to take alot of people writing letters to the Governor of Missouri on behalf of Stacey Lannert to get her released from prison.

I am asking everyone to please write a short letter by February 14, 2006 and ask that the Governor please sign Stacey Lannert's application for Executive Clemency which has been pending since 1998.

This woman has been in prison since she was 18 years old. She is now 33 years old and without a pardon, will spend the REST OF HER LIFE IN PRISON! I simply believe that she recieved too harsh of a sentence for her crime.

An avalanche of mail could turn the tide for her.
