What does he mean by this? Failure and success are judgements. Judgements are black and white box type thinking oriented. By thinking outside the box, we can get to a place where we no longer think in terms of failure or success.  An action generates a result, which then results in learning. We learn to either do or not do something based on the result and feedback experienced. 

By adjusting course each time we get an experience, the results should improve over time.
