Our children are getting sick from the food they eat. With the rapid expansion of fast food giants across the globe, the rates of obesity and diet-related disease are rising at an alarming rate. 

That's why Corporate Accountability International is launching a campaign called Value [the] Meal, demanding that fast food giants like Burger King and McDonald's stop aggressively marketing to our children, blocking our right to know basic nutritional facts about these products and interfering in public health policy.

I think there is more to the value of a meal than its cost at the register, especially when you consider the health cost to our children. Every year the direct and indirect costs of treating diet related disease total well over $120 billion.
