Another interesting connection. Most if not all of the policies of Republicans and other Conservatives around the world are tied to the PAST..

OLD Oil---- OLD ancient sunlight... millions of years old, toxic, poisonous, dangerous.. Due to our addiction, we have burned enough to release 500 BILLION TONS of carbon into the air, water and ground, all of it is polluting and poisoning us and all life. This includes oil, gas, propane, natural gas, nuclear power, wood, coal, etc.

Patriarchy ---OLD obsolete power structure based on past, male dominated; females could not vote, hold office, say who they marry, own anything, etc. etc.

Good OLD boy network --- OLD ancient oligarchy, usually white, older MALES like McCAIN. If you are woman or other than white, you are out of the loop and get no influence or power. See below for where this leads. They make a few token exceptions to give appearance of being diverse, but if you look at whole party, it is made up mostly of this MINORITY. They know this energy is dead, which is why they hauled in the youngest sexiest woman they could, to liven it up.

Corporate Monopolies - OLD obsolete power structure based on illegal and immoral gains; oil, sports, railroads, drugs, doctors, huge global corporations like Monsanto, trying to keep and hold onto profits and power at any cost, even if it means killing everyone and poisoning everything.

OLD Testament ---- OLD ancient past beliefs that do not fit today and do not apply to today.. this includes ancient traditions that kids and young people today are walking away from.  An example of people who base their lives on this are White Christian Fundamentalists --- old belief systems based on past and mostly unproven theories (Earth only 2,000 years old, etc.).

They represent a tiny, TINY minority of globes population but they are trying to represent EVERYONE by FORCE and LAW.. through takeovers, unilateral preemtive invasions, domination, conversion, propoganda, fear, mass media takeover (shock jocks) monopolies, political alliances, government funding of FUNDAMENTALIST churches, government approval of FUNDAMENTALIST church policies, etc.
