Netflix is an on demand movie service. You can watch any movie you like out of thousands available. It is like a video store with instant movies of your choice. Netflix is green because it eliminates all driving to go pick out movies. It eliminates all packaging, and all gas spent on sending videos back and forth.
Netflix is also green because it features movies NOT available on mass media channels. It features foreign movies, and activist movies like the ones below. It also features green movies that talk about the real world of renewable energy, how and why it works, etc. Netflix also features many documentaries and movies about global warming, explaining how and why it is real.
Netflix has over 400 channels, besides offering all of the movies that it has. To access these channels, go to 'Channel Store'. There are recent additions, and I predict more will be added soon, as the on demand Netflix type of business model takes off.
The Channel Store has such things as
Music; free unlimited music from providers such as Pandora
News And Weather
Kids And Family
Science and Technolgoy
Photos and Video
International; including foreign language stations not found on satellite
Religion and Spirituality
