Well that seems like a fitting title since people are just plain mean.

I have a Facebook...yes one of those. Well I commented about my aversion to meat and how I don't think anyone with a heart would eat meat. I mean think about it. If you can have so little compassion for life as to eat meat, what does that really say about you?

Just because it's the 'in' thing and the conforming thing and the 'normal' thing...does that make it right? Of course not. You know God made all living creatures...not just humans. So why is it that humans have such a blatant disregard to animals? Are they not our brothers, sisters, and children in a sense?

Humans are just so freaking twisted & sick. You know, if we did to another human being what we do to animals, how many of us would not be put on death row? Torture, rape, dismemberment & mutilation, and god knows what else they do to animals...c'mon people...grow up!

I can't write this on Facebook because of the sheer abuse I would receive there. But here, I find there may be others who actually have a heart and would understand where I am coming from.

What is wrong with people? Sometimes I think someone should just get rid of all of humanity...

Yes, bin Laden was killed. Does that mean we as humans have the right to turn into savages about the whole thing and how wonderful his death is? Not to me.

Two wrongs certainly do not make a right, and this is no exception. Yes, he did a lot of bad things, but he was still human.
I often wonder what has happened to the people who walk the earth. They seem more about things that Satan would approve of, than about the things that God would approve of.
It's taken me a long time to get past some of the things others have done to me (rape, molestation, etc.) and you know the same people who have tried to help me are the same ones who are out there saying how wonderful of a thing it is that bin Laden is dead and saying he got what he deserved. Who are we to decide one's fate?
As long as we keep doing these horrendous acts towards others, no matter how horrible they may be, there is no hope for a future. That's the reality of life. Not just mine or yours, but everyone's.

Ok...I think today has made me rethink the whole meat-eating thing.

Dad's a huge meat-eater and I can't eat a lot because I'm so sensitive to it. Well we picked up a chicken of those rotisserie chickens from the store. Well I couldn't do it...seeing the bone and feeling it tear and may as well have been a human being we were eating!!!
I got so sick...I almost threw up because it made me so sick!!! I told dad...I couldn't do it...I couldn't keep eating meat anymore!!! If an animal had to die to feed me, then I don't wanna eat it!

Today is the saddest day. My best friend of 2 years...Mushi...has left me.

About 4 days ago she made a hole in my screen window and disappeared for the next 3 days. She returned to me late last night...and today she had to be put to sleep.

Not only were her ribs crushed, but she had claw marks down her left side and a bite mark that must've pierced her lungs.

Apparently, the wound (about the size of a dime...or a little smaller) exposed her lung from what the vet said. You could hear the air escaping her lung and coming out that hole.

I just feel so I'm gonna die at any second if I can't hold her again.

P&G Recalls Specific Canned Cat Foods

Due to Low Levels of Thiamine (Vitamin B1)

CINCINNATI, June 9, 2010 - The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) (NYSEG) is voluntarily recalling specific lots of its Iams canned cat food in North America as a precautionary measure.  Diagnostic testing indicated that the product may contain insufficient levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1), which is essential for cats.  Cats that were fed these canned products as their only food are at greater risk for developing signs of thiamine deficiency.

The following Iams canned cat foods are included:

Product Name

Date on Bottom of Can

Iams ProActive Health canned Cat and Kitten Food - all varieties of 3 oz & 5.5 oz cans

09/2011 to 06/2012

This recall is limited to only Iams canned cat food distributed in North America.  No other Iams pet food is involved.

Early signs of thiamine deficiency may include loss of appetite, salivation, vomiting and weight loss.  In advanced cases, signs may include ventroflexion (downward curving) of the neck, wobbly gait, falling, circling and seizures.  Contact your veterinarian immediately if your cat is displaying any of these signs.  If treated promptly, thiamine deficiency is typically reversible.

Consumers who have purchased canned cat food with these codes should discard it.  For further information or a product refund call P&G toll-free at 877-340-8826 (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST).
