The Bush Administration's "conscience" rule regarding health care workers that's been threatened for months finally became official yesterday. It's so wide-ranging that a hospital or clinic could forbid employees from doing anything from selling antibiotics or birth control to performing abortion.

Rachel Maddow had a great segment explaining what this new rule means last night:
