I was riding through a raging storm on a sunny day
when a twister came across the plains and headed straight my way.
Well I jumped into the whirling wind and rode it up in the sky
and when it set me on the ground I had myself a cry.

I felt something gently brush by like a whisper on the wind.

I wasn't sure why but I opened the window and let it in.
I smelled the sweet scent of violets as the sun shined down so bright.
And the coolness of blue shadows said everything' is gonna be alright.

I peaked out through the window and saw myself outside.
The light of truth came shining though though it was still late at night.
I saw the green of the trees upon the vast hill side.
And as the waves crashed upon the shore as I spread my wings in flight.

I don't know where I'm going or how the story ends.
But I knew I'd have to follow it through the moment it began.
