Spay/Neuter Fundraiser for Rescued Cats and Kittens ~ Every $1.00 Helps!
 from Suzanne:
Simply put,

No One At The Helm

and
Real Men Don't Hurt Animals (R.M.D.H.A.)
have rescued a handful of cats and kittens, and the funds just aren't here for us to vet all of the kitties.

I'm hoping that before everyone's holiday shopping bills rack up, you can spare anything you can -- one dollar, a few dollars -- because anything helps if everyone chips in to help us.

Vet bills are already over $650.00 and there is still a handful of cats to be spayed and neutered at RMDHA's. Samantha's invoice is available for posting for anyone who wants proof of the enormous bill. She vetted quite a few and had to get medication for an outbreak of ringworm. That's only the tip of the iceberg.

All three of us have always helped out whoever we could over the years. We'd not ask if we didn't have to.
These are my close, personal friends. This is not a scam. We have all rescued, saved from abuse, fostered and rehomed many cats. We've taken in ferals. We've donated over the years to many a stranger and friend. I just can't do it now, and I wish I could. I can barely feed and vet my own 4 cats. I am doing what I can to get by. I am desperately trying to find people to crosspost this information and the chip-in widget to raise the money needed to pay off the current vet bill and to spay/neuter the remaining cats who are now ready.
I appreciate any help at all. Thank you!!!

My husband wants a divorce, so I need to return back to Germany. I never thought it would come to this, since I always thought he loves our animals like I do, but apparently he doesn’t.
Anyways, besides being stuck with two dogs and 6 horses, I also have to place my 5 cats. I will have to live for a while with my parents in Germany to get back on my feet, since I haven’t worked in a few years. I will have no money to mention and practically will need to start all over. They are not allowing me to bring any of my cats.
I have 5 cats to place, they are all 6.5 years old, (littermates, the mother already found an awesome home, thank goodness), fixed, litter trained. They are NOT declawed. They all seem to be domestic shorthair.

Bubbles

is a gray female, on the small side. She likes to retrieve a toy mouse like a dog and loves to be picked up, squeezed and petted.

Binkie

is a black female, doesn’t like to be picked up too much and is a little reserved, but very cute. She just doesn’t ask for a lot of attention. So if you like a cat that doesn’t ask to be cuddled every 5 minutes, she would be the cat for you.

Cheetah

is a tabby male, very pretty and confident. Doesn’t care for being picked up much but comes around often to cuddle. He gets along great with

Machui,

another tabby male, who is the cuddlebug of the bunch. He could live in your arms if you’d let him. He’s also a confident cat.

Kenya,

the last of the brothers, also a tabby male, is a little less social with his brothers and he doesn’t stand up much for himself and sometimes gets picked on. But he gets along well with his sisters. So I think he’d make a good single cat or would go great with females or submissive males. He loves to cuddle too.

I had originally found their mother the day she gave birth. She was hiding behind the motor of a parked car in the middle of town, and was covered in motor oil. She was so skinny, I didn’t even expect her to have them so soon, but she gave birth an hour or two after I found her. I could not bring it over my heart to give them up, so they have been my babies ever since.
I am looking for loving, forever, indoor homes. If anyone here is remotely interested or knows of anyone that might be interested anywhere in Florida, please post and let me know? They really aren’t much of a bother at all. They are used to dogs and pretty much ignore them. They are social and sweet and haven’t needed a vet for anything but shots in all these years.

We live a little north of the Tampa Bay area in Florida on the west coast, but would be willing to drive quite a bit to bring them to suitable homes. But please keep im ind that I will be doing a site check and will need references. These are my babies and I’ve been so heartbroken and depressed about this. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Please, if you know any cat lovers in Florida, or people that do, pass it on if you can. I do not want them to go through the shelter/rescue sustem. Not only are they overworked as it is, but I also need to know where my babies will end up, for my own sake.
Thank you for reading.
Chris
