THIS IS A TRUE STORY I'VE JUST LEARNED FROM A CLOSE PERSONAL FRIEND. I obscured all the names. It's a poignant example of various aspects concerning one of our nations MOST critical issues. Military families must endure conditions in so many different ways. Each situation has many facets to consider!!! 
~Well, I could write a book about this but I haven't the time nor $ right now, so here is the short SAD TRUE STORY~

Z's daughter, Y, is about to be deployed to Iraq, even thought they promised her she WOULD NOT when she signed up.  Her baby, X, is now old enough to realize that something is up and panicks when she wakes up and her mom isn't there. Z says she is fine when Y tells her that "Mommy is going to work for a few hours, but I'll be back." The military MADE Y sign X over to Z "just in case."  Z wants Y to say "NO" and get a discharge, but Y says no, that she couldn't live with that. We KNEW the dang military was lying to her!!!  
Z says Y has just clammed up and won't talk about it anymore. To make matters worse, Y had a wedding planned for December and the guy dumped her at the last minute and now he's back after her again. We think the poor girl has had about enough. Maybe she should just get pregnant again so they can't deploy her!!!!  She is in the ##### (reserve) because they promised her enough money to put a downpayment on a house for her and her baby and also an education. 
PLEASE, learn from this tidbit of realism and see if there is someone you could help! : )

Many of those in violation of their Oath of Office have admitted to Acts of Treason. But, not one of them has been charged with it. That's the problem. So long as they can get away with it they will proceed with "The Agenda". If the Courts refuse to hear the case the Judge should be charged with treason.
The Patriot Act, The War Commissions Act the Military Commissions Act the Real ID Act and the "War on Terrorism" would all be repealed - all it takes is a set of gallows on the Brown House lawn.

I am very disappointed that, when there is 1 lawyer for every 100 people in the US that the Federal Courts aren't overrun with suits against the traitors in Gov. And in certain Corps.
You've never heard me say, "See you at the peace rally", because the only effective means of change is to force issues into the Courts (the charges must be answered and under oath).
I still have the "Land of Confusion" music/vid on my site - that's because it is the last resort when We the People loose confidence in the Courts. (No society has ever survived where 20% of the male population are "felons" and no society has survived where the people had no confidence in the Courts.)
I have never advocated violence against anyone at any time. Still, I am amazed that the Concentration Camps and the white railroad people-cars haven't been sabotaged: And that the IRS (and employees) have not been charged with Racketeering amongst other things. What's the charge for enforcing (extorting) a non-existent "law"?

Protests needs energy directed along peaceful avenues so long as the Primary Law (the Constitution) is allowed - that, obviously, is not the case as demonstrated in recent Federal District court "rulings".
What we are up against is an Aristocracy of certain people and Corporations. That is illegal in the US - Aristocracy. It means "know best". And those in DC in particular are Aristocrats. Their track record is abysmal, but they are deceived by their self-importance, and in thinking they can deal with the lofty complex matters that We the People can't grasp. Such folly!

It's high time the Gucci shoes filed the charges. Let's shake the tree and see what falls out. Or will the Rolex watches cower behind their BMWs until We the People do this:

Transpartisan Coalition Rejects Mueller Testimony Group calls on FBI, Congress to uphold the Constitution

WASHINGTON, DC - The Liberty Coalition, a transpartisan public policy group dedicated to preserving the Bill of Rights, personal autonomy and individual privacy today rebuffed the testimony of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Robert Mueller regarding the illegal use of National Security Letters (NSL's). Appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Director Mueller acknowledged that laws had been broken but argued that future abuses could be prevented by internal means within the FBI.

"The FBI has clearly abused its power and violated the constitutional rights of tens of thousands of Americans. These actions must not be tolerated in a free society," said Liberty Coalition national director Michael Ostrolenk. "While enhanced public scrutiny and Congressional oversight are a good first step, they are not enough to protect our Nation's liberty from abusive, unchecked power. Congress must act to stop the issuance of National Security Letters!"

National Security Letters are a controversial part of the USA Patriot Act. Civil liberties advocates have long argued that these secret, coercive demands for privacy records violate fundamental privacy rights. They allow the FBI to require telephone companies, Internet service providers, banks, credit bureaus, insurance companies and other businesses to produce highly personal records about their customers without any evidence the person whose records are demanded has done anything wrong and without any judicial or independent check to protect individual rights. NSL recipients are placed under gag order and have no recourse to object to the FBI demands under sharp penalty of law.

A recent audit by the Department of Justice found that FBI agents demanded individual's personal data without proper authorization and improperly obtained telephone records under the guise of "emergency" in non-emergency circumstances. In addition, the FBI significantly underreported to Congress for three years how it forced businesses to turn over customer data. The Justice Department also misled the American people and Congress about the explosion in the use of these intrusive demands, at one point denying investigative reporting that over 30,000 requests had been made in a single year—this report documented that, in fact, over 50,000 had been made in a year for a total of almost 150,000 in a three year period.

In his testimony, Director Mueller suggested a potential openness to using Administrative Subpoenas in place of NSL's. Administrative Subpoenas are similar to NSL's, but have a very limited element of judicial oversight obtained after records have been obtained. Civil liberties advocates argue that the demands are also unconstitutional and are not an acceptable compromise.

"The choice between National Security Letters and Administrative Subpoenas is a false choice," continued Ostrlolenk. "The Fourth Amendment demands a full and vigorous review of Executive power by the Judiciary. Both National Security Letters and Administrative Subpoenas are unconstitutional."

Factual Chemtrail video - Environmentalist suits?
I live at high elevation and we get rain from 20,000+ feet. The drops dry on the windshields as white dots. The chemtrails smell a lot like the chemical that is used in winter to melt the hardpack on the streets. I wondered what the chemical composition was - Thanks for posting an informative video

I know we've heard it all before but sometimes the medium is the message and the Discovery Channel is certainly more mainline than bulletins at the Truth Network or various chemtrail sites and articles that are posted on the Internet. Credibility comes from mass exposure. Quick! Call Rosie and Charlie!

Most people are not aware that there are over 800 chemtrail sites on Google and over a thousand on the Yahoo search engine. There are probably a thousand more listed under different search headings like contrails and serpent ropes, etc etc. This subject is begging for mass media coverage but the mainline networks that get 10 to 20 share viewing consistently won't touch chemtrails and that fact is telling just by the conspicuous absence created by not covering such a widely discussed, photographed, vidioed and written about topic. It appears there is a concerted effort being made to suppress what otherwise would be a great story that journalist would love to show and tell about.

Negativism, Dodgeball, and Responsibility
Thanks Dave - The intent of the article is correct. It is true that "love conquers all". If we had shown up in Iraq with the water pipes, sewer pipes, electrical and communications promised the resistance in Iraq would have been minimal and short lived.
I wonder though at statements like this:
"It's a crazy world we have to live in, full of obstacles. It's our job just to try and manage to maneuver through these in the best and easiest way possible. Life is merely a game of dodgeball. Those terrible mishaps never stop coming but just get out of there way."
You can not dodge the infringements of Unalienable Rights, nor the fall-out of chemtrails.

Resistance, is not necessarily negative. Preservation is not necessarily negative. Charging people with treason for violating their Oath of Office is not negative.
Most people want the best for their neighbors, but life brings with it responsibilities. Carrying out some of them is not always a pleasant task, but they must be done if we are to continue a free people able to express our views openly.
When the plans of evil people are perpetrated innocent people die, and the best tactic is evasion - that's "dodgeball". We the People have the ball - it's high time we were willing to throw it.

If we're always dwelling on the negative, we will attract negative people, experiences, and attitudes. If we're always dwelling on our fears, we will draw in more fear. You are setting the direction of your life with your thoughts. The choice is yours. You don't have to dwell on every thought that comes to your mind.

Negative thoughts assail you; Your never going to get out of debt. You're never going to be successful. You're always going to live in poverty and lack. Don't be passive, sitting back and allowing negative, critical, pessimistic thoughts to influence your life. Learn to dwell on the good; reprogram your thinking. If you can control your thoughts and transform your way of thinking you will ultimately transform your life.

So much of the negativity in our lives comes from a past experience or experiences. Learn to let them go. You need to rid your mind of all that past bitterness, resentment, and other contaminants. Forgiveness is the key to being free from toxic bitterness. Forgive people who hurt you. Forgive the boss who did you wrong. Forgive the friend who betrayed you. Forgive the parent who mistreated you when you were younger. Get rid of all that poison. Don't allow that poison to remain inside and continue to grow through time. It's time to move on. To live again. Start fresh. Your never going to move forward in life walking backwards. Your never going to be able to love with anger and pain still in your mind and in your heart. Understand your not alone.

Most all have been through much of the same but you can make your life different than there's. You can't change the past but you can change your future. So let the past go. You've grown from all these past experiences making you a wiser and more aware person of how life can work. The goods and the bads. It's a crazy world we have to live in, full of obstacles. It's our job just to try and manage to maneuver through these in the best and easiest way possible. Life is merely a game of dodgeball. Those terrible mishaps never stop coming but just get out of there way. When you get hit, shake it off, don't let it ponder or infiltrate your mind, let it go and move on. It was a surreal spectacle to see the vice president attacking the Democratic plan for Iraq by arguing that it's "been called 'slow bleed'".  Now, how exactly did that coined description end up coming out of the mouth of every corporate media toady out there, except for the fact that Cheney himself directly ORDERED them through his underlings to say it?  It's reminiscent of when they would plant stories in the New York Times and then rely on the same stories as justifying authority for what they were doing.
You bet we want to slow down the bleeding (as opposed to the accelerating bleeding which is going on now).  In fact, we want to STOP the bleeding altogether, and the amputations and the deaths too.  And now at least we have a Senate bill which proposes a withdrawal timetable.  While we agree with Senator Feingold in supporting it that the measure is still not binding enough, the Republicans are confident that can defeat it, which is the only reason they are allowing an actual vote.
Well, maybe, if enough of us call and email them we can make them a little less confident in defying the clear will of the American AND the Iraqi people.  Especially if you have any Republican senators they need to reminded of when they are next up for re-election.  And all of our Democratic senators need to hear from us so that they present a united front.

Global warming isn't a problem our children will face—it's a reality today and it’s accelerating much faster than ever predicted.

We cannot wait until the next president is elected to begin to take action on global warming. We all must take responsibility and do our part to stop global warming today—even if the current government refuses to act.

That's why today I’m announcing my commitment to make my campaign "carbon neutral"—meaning we will offset the impact of all our energy use to ensure that our campaign does not contribute to global warming.

To achieve carbon neutrality, we’re taking two big steps. First, we’re implementing a number of simple but effective techniques to conserve energy in our national and field offices. And I’ve asked my staff to take concrete steps to reduce their own energy consumption. Conserving energy now is the single biggest thing we all can do as individuals to combat global warming.

But presidential campaigns by their nature use an enormous amount of energy for travel and operations. Which is why today I have also directed the campaign to purchase carbon offsets that support alternative energy production to neutralize the global warming impact from our travel and office energy use.

Carbon offsets are an expensive proposition for a national campaign—but I believe it is an investment for our planet that we simply must make.

Global warming is bigger than any political party, any election—and certainly any one campaign—and good ideas for achieving carbon neutrality should be shared freely.

We weren't the first campaign to declare our efforts to become carbon neutral. Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack had announced carbon neutrality for his campaign shortly before he withdrew a few weeks ago.

Silently, but powerfully, the “detainee” in an orange jumpsuit makes the case against the horrors of the Bush wars. Pretend that the new Democratic Congress -- after four years of torture, mass murder and war crimes against the people of Iraq -- didn’t just promise the War-Criminal-In-Chief that they would do nothing to stop a new and even more dangerous war against Iran.

Pretend that these same Democrats -- who have sold you out so many times and at the cost of so many lives -- didn’t just promise to give the president more money than he even asked for to fight his current wars!

Federal court rules against dying medical marijuana patient 

A medical marijuana patient whose doctor says marijuana is the only medicine keeping her alive does not have a constitutional right to stay alive, a federal appeals court ruled today.


Angel Raich, a California mother of two, uses marijuana to treat life-threatening wasting syndrome, seizures, an inoperable brain tumor, and severe chronic pain. "The court has just sentenced me to death," she said after the ruling. "My doctors agree that medical cannabis is essential to my very survival, and the government did not even contest the medical evidence ... If we don't have a right to live, what do we have left?"


Raich's lawyers argued that because her doctors believe medical marijuana is essential to her survival, prosecuting her would violate the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment guarantee that no person may be "deprived of life ... without due process of law."


In its decision, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that there is not yet a constitutional right "to make a life-shaping decision on a physician's advice to use medical marijuana to preserve bodily integrity, avoid intolerable pain, and preserve life, when all other prescribed medications and remedies have failed."


But — significantly — the court suggested that a right to medical marijuana could eventually be recognized as fundamental. The ruling says: "For now, federal law is blind to the wisdom of a future day when the right to use medical marijuana to alleviate excruciating pain may be deemed fundamental. Although that day has not yet dawned, considering that during the last ten years eleven states have legalized the use of medical marijuana, that day may be upon us sooner than expected."

Because the federal courts have refused to protect medical marijuana patients from arrest, it's all the more imperative that Congress act to change federal law. MPP has led the fight in Congress over the last four years, with a record 163 House members voting for a medical marijuana amendment last summer. And, since the Democratic takeover of Congress in November, the congressional outlook for medical marijuana is now better than it has been since I co-founded MPP 12 years ago.


In fact, we have a real chance of passing federal legislation to protect medical marijuana patients this year, but we need you to stand with us. P.S. Today also brought happier legal news, when a federal judge in San Francisco dismissed charges against marijuana policy activist Ed Rosenthal on grounds of "vindictive prosecution." Rosenthal was sentenced in 2003 to a single day in prison after a jury found him guilty of violating federal law by growing marijuana for patients. That conviction was overturned last year, and the government filed new charges, including four counts of tax evasion and one count of money laundering. U.S. District Court Judge Charles Breyer today dismissed those charges, ruling that the prosecutors appeared to be retaliating against Rosenthal for publicly criticizing the government.
