Police worldwide are searching for 39-year-old Peter Wheatherley. Wheatherley was convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl. But since his release from prison, the pedophile has gone on the run and failed to comply with the Sexual Offences Act of 2003.

Brianna Fannon, 14, left North Henderson High School on Friday and has not been seen since.Family members and law officers are searching for a 14-year-old North Henderson High School freshman who has been missing since Friday.

Brianna Fannon left school on Friday and has not been seen since, said a family friend, Joyce Murray. Henderson County sheriff’s spokesman Joe Johnson confirmed authorities are looking for a 14-year-old female. “We believe she is still in Hendersonville and more than likely to be with two additional teenagers,” Johnson said.

Murray said family members believe the girl may be with two boys who are also missing, one 14 and the other 16 or 17. She said one of the boys is thought to have taken his grandmother’s car, a 2002 burgundy Saturn. “We’ve put up posters everywhere,” Murray said. “In the Ingles store, anywhere we think they might be seen.”

“She is with these boys, it was confirmed,” said the girl’s mother, Jaylene Fannon. “We don’t know where they are. They are in the missing persons report. We asked them why they couldn’t put her in an Amber alert and they said she’s not in danger.”

She described her daughter as 5-foot-3, 115 pounds with a fair complexion and light brown hair that is almost waist length.

Anne Marie WhiteAuthorities in Maysville have issued an alert on behalf of a missing teenage girl. Anne Marie White, 17, is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 100 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen at 10 p.m. on Sunday at her home.

Missing for nine daysThe mother of missing Dublin teenager Amy Fitzpatrick has told a media conference that no clothing belonging to her missing daughter has so far been found in police searches. Earlier reports suggested a pair of black leggings found in a ravine not far from where she was last seen might have been hers.

Amy's mother Audrey also told the media in Spain that she and her daughter were very close and it was unheard of for Amy not to have contacted her for so long. The teenager went missing on New Year's Day, near her home in Fuengirola.

Police today stepped up their search which involves two helicopters, sniffer dogs, mapping experts from Madrid and a large team of police officers. Amy Fitzpatrick disappeared while she was walking home from a friend's house on New Year's Day.

Her mother arrived at the scene of the search this morning and again issued an appeal for information. Investigating police from the Guardia Civil are co-ordinating the search and are extending it to an area 12km in radius.

No civilians are being allowed to take part in the search. Volunteers had been asked to gather at the Calla Mijes football pitch, which is beside the school that Amy previously attended.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has also offered consular assistance but that offer does not appear to have been taken up and no Irish official is present in Fuengirola.

Interpol has not been alerted and the gardaí also say that they have not received a request from the Spanish police for assistance and their liaison officer based in Madrid has not been asked to travel to the Costa del Sol. Click here for more info>>

Police have launched a full scale search for Belinda Michelle Wilson who went missing from her home in Titirangi last week.West Auckland Police have been investigating two possible sightings of missing Titirangi woman Belinda Wilson. Police have had two independent sightings of a woman matching Wilson's description and pulling a black trundler bag.

Detective Sergeant Sean Hyland-Mills says police have been searching the central shopping district where the sightings occurred and also the wider New Lynn area.

He says they have established that she is known in the New Lynn region, and it wouldn't be unusual for her to be seen shopping there. But Hyland-Mills says while the sightings match Wilson's description, they can't be 100% sure that it is her.

He says they have exhausted the search options in New Lynn, but will continue to contact friends and associates. Click here for more info>>

A Memphis girl missing for more than two years has been spotted in Texas.

RICKEL FITCH DOB: Dec 8, 2002 Age Now: 44 year-old Rickel Fitch was taken by her non-custodial father back in August of 2005.

Yesterday authorities found and arrested the father at a home in Duncanville, Texas, just outside Dallas. Rickey Evans was considered a federal fugitive according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

After the arrest, police learned Rickel Fitch was on a list for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. By the time officers got back to the house, Rickel was gone along with Evans' girlfriend, Shapale Amos, aka Shapale White. Shapale Amos is believed to be driving a light green Ford Expedition with Tennessee drive out tags. She is facing kidnapping charges, authorities. Alan Templeton vanished on November 26, 2006 of last year.The sister of a missing Edinburgh barman today renewed her appeal for help to find her brother as the first anniversary of his disappearance approaches.

missing Jackson State University student Latasha NormanThe calls are continuing to come in, but police have not identified any suspects in the disappearance of Latasha Norman, the 20-year-old Jackson State University student last seen leaving class Nov. 13.

Several people have been questioned, said investigator Luther Samuel of the JSU Police Department. However, many of the people calling police hotlines are providing more questions than tips, he said.

"It's been seven days now, and we'd like to bring this to a closure," Norman's father, Danny Bolden, his eyes red and tear-filled, said at a news conference Tuesday at JSU.

Among those questioned was Norman's ex-boyfriend, Stanley Cole, another JSU student. Pearl police arrested him last week on a simple assault charge stemming from an October incident in which Cole allegedly punched Norman. He was released on $500 bond. Norman's current boyfriend also has been questioned. "We haven't ruled anyone out," Samuel said.

Victor Rios 18 5 feet 6 inches and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes

A San Marcos high school student with a mental disability was missing Thursday, and authorities asked the public for help in finding him.

Victor Rios, 18, was last seen the morning of Sept. 22, collecting aluminum cans at an auto shop in the 400 block of South Santa Fe Drive in Vista, according to sheriff's officials. Rios is Latino, He is enrolled in special-education classes at Mission Hills High School in San Marcos.

New Zealand authorities are searching for the mother of a 3-year-old girl whose father allegedly abandoned her before boarding a plane to the United States, police said.
The girl's father was caught on a security video apparently leaving his daughter Saturday at the Southern Cross train station in the southern Australian city of Melbourne, said Inspector Brad Shallies of Melbourne police. Airline records show he then flew to Los Angeles about two hours later, police said.
Police have identified the man as Xue Naiyin, 54, and said he lived in Auckland, New Zealand, with his wife and daughter. THE father of dumped toddler Pumpkin had another daughter who vanished five years ago and several protection orders sought against him by his wife

Concerns mount for missing teen

MISSING PERSON: Luke Mason, 17, has not been seen since he left a party last Friday night in Warkworth. His bike was later recovered near the Mahurangi River.

Forty search and rescue members are continuing the hunt for a teenager missing from Warkworth, north of Auckland.

Seventeen-year-old Luke Mason has not been seen since leaving a party on his bicycle in an intoxicated state last Friday. His bike was found near the Mahurangi River the next day, but extensive searches of the area have failed to find him.

Police spokesman Kevin Loughlin says search teams are still optimistic because there have been three separate sightings of a person matching the teenager's description.

Elaine Danielle Conkl, 32, went out with friends Wednesday and had only planned to be gone a few hours. Her parents reported her missing a day later, said Sgt. Brad Johnston.

Police report she was seen by several people at Girtle's in Seaside at about 1 a.m. on Thursday. It is believed that she left with a white man driving a white late 1980s Ford extra cab pick-up. The pick-up may have a "Roll Along" decal on the back.

Conkle is described as 5-4 tall, weighing 139 pounds, and has shoulder-length, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a distinct scar on her upper lip and a tattoo on her back that says "Augie's Girl."

Shook is described as being 5'6, about 185 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.

Authorities and relatives are worried about the disappearance of a 31-year-old Estero woman who reportedly dropped off her young children Tuesday morning with her estranged husband, and hasn't been seen since.

Sheriff's officials are concerned the woman could be in danger. According to court records, Shook requested a domestic violence-based restraining order against Joseph R. Shook in January. Esckilsen said Shook's divorce was supposed to be final on Thursday.

At about 8:00am on Tuesday 12 July 2005, the body of Katrina Ann Jefferies, a 22 year old Mt Roskill resident, was located semi-clothed, and discarded down a bank on Waikowhai Road, Waikowhai Reserve, Hillsborough, Auckland.

Police inquiries have established that the last confirmed sighting of the victim was by her mother, when Katrina left home on foot, during the early evening on Sunday 10 July 2005.

It is hereby notified that a reward of up to fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) will be paid for material information or evidence, which leads to the identity and conviction of any person or persons responsible for the death of Katrina Ann Jefferies.

The Commissioner of Police will determine the amount of the reward and will, if necessary, apportion payment where there is more than one claimant.

Immunity from prosecution shall be considered for any accomplice - not being the principal offender - who shall first give such information or evidence.

This offer shall remain in force until the 31st December 2007.

Anyone with information relating to the murder of Katrina Jefferies should contact their nearest Police Station.

Volunteers To Help Search For Missing Grand Junction Woman
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- Hundreds of volunteers are ready to start a search for Paige Birgfeld, the missing Grand Valley mother of three and adult dancer.

"We have tons of volunteers," said Connie Flukey, director of the Jennifer and Abby Recovery Center.

Birgfeld was last seen two weeks ago and was reported missing on June 30. The next day, her car was found on fire about two miles west of her home in north Grand Junction.

Brian Bjornson, of 7 Lamson Drive, was last seen at his home on June 19 at 1 p.m., and police believe he may be endangered. Police are looking for anyone who may have information leading to the whereabouts of Bjornson. “Our agency received a runaway report from a local parent about their 17-year-old son,” said Det. Dean KillKelley in an e-mail to the Journal. “We are asking for your assistance in locating him because of his insulin dependency … according to his parents, his current insulin pump will run out today.” According to a press release from Det. Lt. Peter Albert, who is handling the investigation, Bjornson is a diabetic and is insulin dependent. Police have been led to believe that Bjornson may have run away from home to go to Lowell, Mass., where he is possibly being recruited into a gang.
