Whether on the local, state or national level, the ultimate instrument for change in America is you — the voter. It is your vote that places candidates in office and your vote that can remove that candidate from office. Our representatives, by law, are accountable to us, and when they are not, when they violate our trust, our confidence — we need to hold them accountable. No country in the world enjoys the democratic process that we enjoy in America. Unfortunately, as with too many things, we have fallen into complacency, taken our liberties for-granted and misplaced our trust in government officials who seem to spend most of their time planning for their next re-election campaign or succumbing to the money of big business and their lobbyists.

The Pontificator's "Action Center" is where you can come to find the resources that can enable you to advocate for those positions you care about; a way for you to reach your local, state and national representatives, a foot-hold for you to  fight for what you believe in, a way to restore America to the ideas that made it great and can help restore it's greatness as a world-leader. Renewing America's prominence is a choice that begins with you. The choice of hope for our future, our children, grand-children and all the generations of our children to follow, begins with you. Please join with me by actively supporting the goals and initiatives, I advocate for. If there is something you do not agree with, please share your comments. Your thoughts and opinions do matter.

George H. Brooks, The Pontificator
