10 Ways to Kick the Carbon Habit!
1. Restore your environment and plant trees-natives,
fruit, nuts-they all offset carbon emissions.
2. Revive the art of walking, cycling, carpooling and
catching the bus. Fewer cars=fewer carbon
    emissions.
3. Reduce your electricity bill-turn off lights when not
in use, turn off apliances at the wall, use laptops
instead of desktops, change to energy efficient
    lightbulbs.
4. Retrofit-get energy efficient! Invest in good home
insulation. Install solar hot water-and save 40% on
    your electricity bills.
5. Re-use-some items have multiple useage-be
creative. Your trash is someone else's treasure.
6. Reduce resources-plastic products=oil
dependency. Say no to plastic and plastic bags,
re-fill drink bottles, choose goods made from
    natural materials.
7. Rethink purchasing choices. Buy 'less stuff'.
Think before you buy-do I need it? Invest in
    quality made local goods.
8. Recycle food waste and green waste with
composting, worm farming and bokashi systems.
Compost reduces waste and feeds your soil.
9. Redesign your garden-liberate your lawn and grow
your own fruit and vegetables-home grown food
    reduces packaging and food miles.
10. Rejoice and celebrate "Kicking the Habit"
      towards a lower carbon economy.
And have you noticed, most of these things will save you money too!
