One definition of a nuclear plant cold shutdown is provided for us by Wikipedia; and Fukushima does not seem to ‘fit’ into this definition. How did they manage to scram FUKU into it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shutdown Maybe we need to check into this further… Let’s check the normal method of cooling down a reactor?
Maybe they are talking about the normal method of moving control rods into the core, in order to stop a nuclear reaction which creates heat? “In any reactor, a SCRAM is achieved by a large insertion of negative reactivity. In light water reactors, this is achieved by inserting neutron-absorbing control rods into the core, although the mechanism by which rods are inserted depends on the type of reactor.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scram
The Scram definition does not seem to work either, because the control rods are melted and gone. For that matter, so are the fuel rods. No one really knows where they went or where they are, much less what temperature they are. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? Let me try NRC website..NRC website says a cold shutdown is; “the term used to define a reactor coolant system at atmospheric pressure and at a temperature below 200 degrees Fahrenheit following a reactor cool down.”
Since there is NO REACTOR CORE and no control rods are left, and the reactors all have holes in them, how can it be shut down via a coolant system that no longer exists? Even the company and government authorities will have to admit that the multiple molten nuclear fuel bundles from several reactors are also probably still fissioning in out of control criticalities, may have entirely or mostly left containment and possibly even exited the reactor BUILDINGS.
Nuclear expert Arnie Gunderson says about this claim of cold shutdown; “But I don’t know why they choose to say cold shutdown because that’s an affront to those in the industry who really know what the term means,” he said. “That nuclear core is still in a configuration where the center is extraordinarily hot.” http://www.businessweek.com/news/2011-12-19/fukushima-dismantling-to-start-as-cold-shutdown-announced.html
Greenpeace, which was in Japan revealing the coverup of high radiation levels in Fukushima Province and in the ocean, which the company and Japanese government resisted and denied at first, said: "The Japanese authorities stated last Friday that Fukushima is in a state of "cold shutdown. This is not true. At first glance, the announcement that the stricken nuclear reactors are now “stable”sounds like some rare good news from the disaster zone. Not at all. As we all know, first impressions can be deceptive".... Read the rest of the story at; http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/en/news-and-blogs/campaign-blog/redefining-cold-shutdown-doesnt-hide-the-trut/blog/38482/
I am not an expert, but I believe my own eyes when it comes to the term ‘cold shutdown’. The definition of cold shutdown according to ALL of these authorities is that every part of the Fukushima complex, including all reactors, are supposed to be below the boiling point of water, right?
So why is it that when they went into reactor #2 with an endoscope (after cold shutdown was announced), they found steam and dripping water from steam condensing at the top? ONLY BOILING WATER creates steam. Or did I miss something in science class? COLD water, below the boiling point, CANNOT CREATE MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF STEAM! The company even admitted that it could not see much during this endoscope operation due to the massive amounts of steam and condensing water dripping off the top inside of the vessel.
And if ‘cold shutdown’ means that all parts of the melted corium is below boiling point of water, why do they not even know where these multiple 65 ton corium blobs are, much less what they are doing? They have ‘estimates’ and guesses, but really no one knows. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/12/02/1041766/-Lets-Play:-Wheres-the-Corium
Workers have reported that radioactive steam is coming out of the ground through cracks in the ground. What other explanation is there for this, other than multiple melted 65 ton corium blobs sinking down through the ground? How does this fit in with the company claiming everything is in ‘cold shutdown’? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8ZywzIVIl8
The steam coming up from out of a crack in the floor of a reactor building at Fukushima also does not inspire confidence in anything these people say. Is this the basement, which means the corium is underground, or is this steam coming out of the first floor, meaning the steam is coming out of the basement of one of the buildings? Either way, it may indicate that a melted corium blob has left containment, or that it has left the building entirely. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cA8Kz_bPmM
Finally, what about ALL of the spent fuel pools at FUKU? Are the authorities in charge claiming that all spent fuel pools are also in cold shutdown as well? Because as far as I can recall, one or more of them melted down as well.
Who is claiming that there is nothing still melting and fissioning inside one or more spent fuel pools at the FUKU site? Who inspected them and measured the temperature of the melted corium at the bottom of the spent fuel pool(s)? I have not heard anyone doing that, YET. So how can they claim ‘cold shutdown’? http://enenews.com/report-spent-fuel-pool-4-lost-water-began-boil-after-70-new-years-quake-plant-worker
So what would be the motivation for the authorities to be 'claiming' with great authority and assurance that this Fukushima complex is now in ‘cold shutdown’, when it is really still totally out of control, steaming, fissioning, and could theoretically blow up anyday in a massive life extinction event, if one or more of the corium blobs hits groundwater?
Hmmm, maybe the above reason is why they want everyone to believe that this plant is shut down. Maybe they also want to divert attention from the fact that the MOX reactor #3 and it's spent fuel pool melted down and blew up, resulting in a massive release of over 600 pounds of highly toxic, radioactive plutonium?

Analysis of #3 Explosion http://youtu.be/1Q3ljfLvHww
Destroyed Spent Fuel Pool SFP3 of Reactor Unit 3 at Fukushima Daiichi 8 May 2011 http://youtu.be/KugIrnThul0
Why is there such as pressure and hurry to claim 'cold shutdown'? Could it be that they do not want any more news coverage? Could it be that the industry and government authorities embedded with them do not want journalists digging around and finding facts that got covered up? How dangerous is this estimated 600 pounds of plutonium that got thrown up into the air and carried around the globe?
Top Secret Study; Effect of Injected Plutonium On Humans
Only one out of all of the human test subjects in this ‘study’ were given any information about what was being done to them. Two adults were injected with 10 micrograms, and died shortly after that. Others were injected with smaller amounts and also died within several years. Only two test subjects lived longer than several years, but no details are provided about what diseases they suffered from, whether they had problems with pregnancy, fertility, birth defects, etc. This was a badly designed study first of all, and did not give informed consent or any compensation to any of the victims. http://library.lanl.gov/cgi-bin/getfile?00326640.pdf
Scientific Meta-Study Of Plutonium On Animals And Humans
This is a scientific meta analysis of many studies of both humans and animals and the Effect of plutonium on both human nuclear workers and animals. This meta analysis confirmed that a definite cancer link was found in both humans and animals, as well as a lower risk for the general human population not working in the nuclear industry. http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/tp143-c2.pdf
Plutonium Study On 144 Beagle Dogs
"This study was conducted to determine the biological effects of inhaled 238PuO2 over the life spans of 144 beagle dogs. These findings in dogs suggest that similar dose-related biological effects could be expected in humans accidentally exposed to 238PuO2."
What happened to these dogs that inhaled plutonium particles? They all died of cancers, of various types... 100% of them. So we can see that plutonium is a VERY TOXIC, highly dangerous, radioactive substance that should not be around people or cities. But the fact of the matter is, that 600 pounds of this stuff was spread out over the whole planet. Some experts say that 200 pounds in the air is enough to kill everyone on the planet.
Now the final piece.. This is also something the industry does not want you to know. They are desperately trying to keep the plutonium news covered up. They are desperately trying to keep the following information about 'hot' plutonium particles floating around the world, out of the news.
In this video, Gunderson talks about how hot particles or 'fuel fleas' were measured around the world. The average person inhaled 5-10 of these per day, in the USA. Now, if some of these were plutonium, what might be the effect? Gunderson shows a picture of ONE particle of a radioactive substance in the lung.. You can see the damage it causes to the surrounding tissue. Radiation is deadly to living tissue, especially in close quarters and INTERNAL to the body of humans and animals.
Nuclear Physicist: Most Of The Plutonium MOX Fuel Nuclear Fallout Likely To Drop On The U.S As US Plutonium Levels At 20 Year Highs http://blog.alexanderhiggins.com/2011/05/19/nuclear-physicist-plutonium-mox-fuel-nuclear-fallout-drop-22822/
Next, Arnie Gunderson explores why the authorities are part of a culture of constant coverup’s of nuclear accidents, as well as what or how much radiation is released. He details how the government regulator is also the promoter, and everyone involved is part and parcel of the nuclear industry, including the IAEA.
Now, after reading all of the above, why would YOU say the authorities are trying to claim 'cold shutdown' so fast?
Why would major news media owned by GE (they sell nuclear plants and nuke items) not cover this subject in depth, especially knowing that this is potentially still a global life extinction event?

(NaturalNews) Just because those cute little bear-shaped bottles at the grocery store say "honey" on them does not necessarily mean that they actually contain honey. A comprehensive investigation conducted byFood Safety News(FSN) has found that the vast majority of so-called honey products sold at grocery stores, big box stores, drug stores, and restaurants do not contain any pollen, which means they are not real honey.
For the investigation, Vaughn Bryant, one of the nation's leading melissopalynologists, or experts in identifying pollen in honey, and director of the Palynology Research Laboratory at Texas A&M University, evaluated more than 60 products labeled as "honey" that had been purchased by FSN from ten states and the District of Columbia.
Bryant found that 76 percent of "honey" samples purchased from major grocery store chains like Kroger and Safeway, and 77 percent of samples purchased from big box chains like Sam's Club and Wal-Mart, did not contain any pollen. Even worse were "honey" samples taken from drug stores like Walgreens and CVS, and fast food restaurants like McDonald's and KFC, 100 percent of which were found to contain not a trace of pollen.
The full FSN report with a list of all the pollen-less "honey" brands can be accessed here:
So what is all this phony honey made of? It is difficult to say for sure, as pollen is the key to verifying that honey is real. According to FSN, much of this imposter honey is more likely being secretly imported from China, and may even be contaminated with antibiotic drugs and other foreign materials.
Most conventional honey products have been illegally ultra-filtered to hide their true nature
According to FSN, the lack of pollen in most conventional "honey" products is due to these products having been ultra-filtered. This means that they have been intensely heated, forced through extremely tiny filters, and potentially even watered down or adulterated in some way prior to hitting store shelves.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) holds the position that any so-called honey products that have been ultra-filtered are not actually honey. But the agency refuses to do anything to stop this influx of illegitimate "honey" from flooding the North American market. It also continues to stonewall all petitions to establish a national regulatory standard for verifying the integrity of honey.
Ultra-filtering eliminates and destroys all medicinal properties of honey
Assuming that there is any real honey at all in the phony honey products tested by FSN, the removal of pollen and other delicate materials via ultra-filtering renders them medicinally dead. Raw honey is a health-promoting food that can help alleviate stomach problems, anemia, allergies, and other health conditions. Ultra-filtered honey is nothing more than a health-destroying processed sugar in the same vein as white table sugar or high fructose corn syrup.
The good news is that all of the honey products FSN tested from farmers markets, food cooperatives, and "natural" stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, were found to contain pollen and a full array of antioxidants and other nutrients. Local beekeepers are another great source of obtaining raw, unprocessed, real honey.

"The phone rings, you pick it up, and the caller identifies himself as an officer of the court. He says you failed to report for jury duty and that a warrant is out for your arrest. You say you never received a notice. To clear it up, the caller says he'll need some information for "verification purposes"-your birth date, social security number, maybe even a credit card number.
This is when you should hang up the phone. It's a scam.
Jury scams have been around for years, but have seen a resurgence in recent months. Communities in more than a dozen states have issued public warnings about cold calls from people claiming to be court officials seeking personal information. As a rule, court officers never ask for confidential information over the phone; they generally correspond with prospective jurors via mail.
The scam's bold simplicity may be what makes it so effective. Facing the unexpected threat of arrest, victims are caught off guard and may be quick to part with some information to defuse the situation.
"They get you scared first," says a special agent in the Minneapolis field office who has heard the complaints. "They get people saying, 'Oh my gosh! I'm not a criminal. What's going on?'" That's when the scammer dangles a solution-a fine, payable by credit card, that will clear up the problem.
With enough information, scammers can assume your identity and empty your bank accounts.
"It seems like a very simple scam," the agent adds. The trick is putting people on the defensive, then reeling them back in with the promise of a clean slate. "It's kind of ingenious. It's social engineering."

In recent months, communities in Florida, New York, Minnesota, Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, California, Virginia, Oklahoma, Arizona, and New Hampshire reported scams or posted warnings or press releases on their local websites. In August, the federal court system issued a warning on the scam and urged people to call their local District Court office if they receive suspicious calls. In September, the FBI issued a press release about jury scams and suggested victims also contact their local FBI field office.
In March, USA.gov, the federal government’s information website, posted details about jury scams in their Frequently Asked Questions area. The site reported scores of queries on the subject from website visitors and callers seeking information.
The jury scam is a simple variation of the identity-theft ploys that have proliferated in recent years as personal information and good credit have become thieves' preferred prey, particularly on the Internet. Scammers might tap your information to make a purchase on your credit card, but could just as easily sell your information to the highest bidder on the Internet's black market.
Protecting yourself is the key: Never give out personal information when you receive an unsolicited phone call."

Are these firms too big to fail, and too influential with politicians to successfully prosecute ANYONE?
If this is allowed to go on, and no one is held accountable, what does the future hold for other veterans, much less the public?
It seems that this fraud went on in a very large number of banks, and for quite awhile.
Who is supposed to be watching for this fraud?
Who is in charge of investigating it?
Who is in charge of fines, penalties, criminal charges, etc?
This is on top of the robo signing scandal and fraud.
That is on top of the scandal about secretly printing up TRILLIONS and sending it out to foreign banks, via the Federal Reserve, which has not been audited, and maybe never will be.
That is on top of Fort Knox, which has not been audited since the 1960's. Is there any gold left in there? What are we doing with this gold? What purpose does it have? Why not use it? Who owns it? Who controls it?
Much like the largest corporations getting bailed out during the last financial crisis, and then no one being charged and no one going to jail. Nothing seems to be changing on the legislative side to protect from another crisis from happening. We the people have lost control of our destiny through the normal channels of power.
Corporations seem to be running the whole show. The can break laws at will, raid the public money coffers whenever they want for as much as they want. They can print up money on demand, (in the TRILLION, via a private for profit corporation called the Federal Reserve. They can elect anyone they want, and create laws that favor them against the people's will.

This has been verified as a real scam.
Click on the Snopes address below and read about it.
Just a heads up for everyone regarding the latest in Visa fraud.
Royal Bank received this communication about the newest scam.
This is happening in the Midwest right now and moving.
This one is pretty slick since they provide YOU with all the information,
except the one piece they want.
Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it.
This information is worth reading.
By understanding how the VISA & MasterCard telephone Credit Card Scam works,
you'll be better prepared to protect yourself.
The scam works like this:
Person calling says - 'This is (name.)
I'm calling from the Security and Fraud Department at VISA.
My Badge number is 12460.
Your card has been flagged for an unusual purchase pattern, and I'm calling to verify.
This would be on your VISA card which was issued by (name of bank).
Did you purchase an Anti-Telemarketing Device for $497.99
from a marketing company based in Arizona ?'
When you say 'No', the caller continues with, 'Then we will be issuing a credit to your account. This is a company we have been watching and the charges range from $297 to $497,
just under the $500 purchase pattern that flags most cards.
Before your next statement, the credit will be sent to (gives you your address.)
Is that correct?'
You say 'yes.'
The caller continues - 'I will be starting a Fraud Investigation.
If you have any questions, you should call the 1- 800 number
listed on the back of your card (1-800-VISA) and ask for Security.
You will need to refer to this Control Number.
The caller then gives you a 6 digit number.
'Do you need me to read it again?'
Here's the IMPORTANT part on how the scam works!
The caller then says, 'I need to verify you are in possession of your card.'
He'll ask you to turn your card over and look for some numbers.
'There are 7 numbers.
The first 4 are part of your card number, and the last 3 are the Security Numbers
that verify you are the possessor of the card.
These are the numbers you sometimes use to make Internet purchases
to prove you have the card.
The caller will ask you to read the last 3 numbers to him.
After you tell the caller the 3 numbers, he'll say,
'That is correct, I just needed to verify that the card has not been lost or stolen,
and that you still have your card.
Do you have any other questions?'
After you say no, the caller then thanks you and states,
'Don't hesitate to call back if you do', and hangs up.
You actually say very little, and they never ask for or tell you the card number.
But after we were called, we called back within 20 minutes to ask a question.
Are we were glad we did!
The REAL VISA Security Department told us it was a scam
and in the last 15 minutes a new purchase of $497.99 was charged to our card.
We made a real fraud report and closed the VISA account.
VISA is reissuing us a new number.
What the scammers want is the 3-digit PIN number on the back of the card.
Don't give it to them.
Instead, tell them you'll call VISA or Master Card directly for verification of their conversation..
The real VISA will never ask for anything on the card.
They already know the information since they issued the card!
If you give the scammers your 3 Digit PIN Number, you think you're receiving a credit;
however, by the time you get your statement you'll see charges for purchases you didn't make, and by then it's almost too late and/or more difficult to actually file a fraud report.
What makes this more remarkable is that on the next day,
I got a call from a 'Jason Richardson of MasterCard'
with a word-for-word repeat of the VISA Scam.
This time I didn't let him finish. I hung up!
We filed a police report, as instructed by VISA.
The police said they are taking several of these reports daily!
They also urged us to tell everybody we know that this scam is happening.
I dealt with a similar situation this morning, with the caller telling me
that $3,097 had been charged to my account for plane tickets to Spain ,
and so on through the above routine.
It appears that this is a very active scam, and evidently quite successful.
