With the future of the budget reconciliation bill in doubt, the Republican leadership of the House today dropped language from the bill that would have authorized drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
This is big news! A testament to the fact that by working together we can make a difference. Hundreds of thousands of Care2 members have signed petitions, made phone calls and taken action to stop drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. While even a few weeks ago the chances of blocking this bill seemed bleak, there is now considerably more hope.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!
