For a few years, I had the opportunity to work as an aide on the Special
Needs school bus for my school district. Everyday I witnessed first-hand
the incredible love and devotion the parents of Special Needs Children
bestowed on their children. One day after a child with Downs Syndrome
jumped off the bus into the arms of her mother, it dawned on me just how
special these parents are. And in that moment, I thought there should be
a National Day of Recognition For Parents of Special Needs Children.

Your help is needed to make this a reality. I call upon you, the members
of this group, to contact your Congressional Representative and ask him
to join in with Congressman Mike Turner (R), Ohio, to sponsor or
co-sponsor legislation to honor the Parents of Special Needs Children.

Most people seem to find something in life to be passionate about, perhaps it is politics, religion, entertainment, or some other topic with varying degrees of appeal to the general public. I'm one of those people. I like to pontificate! Now, whether I am dogmatic or not is up to you, the reader. I am very passionate about certain issues that affect me and the public at large. So, if you like or support what I express, please let me know. And if you don't, then pontificate right back at me. http://www.thepontificator.com/
