The vicious murderer of our brave and beloved Mercy must be found!
Mercy was just a sweet, innocent 10 month old puppy whose life was so viciously taken from us.  Why?  Because some sadistic low life who is sick and twisted needed to feel he had the power to torture and kill and get away with it. 
Well, we must make sure he DOESN’T!
We implore you to find those responsible for Mercy’s death and justice be served.

The vicious murderer of our brave and beloved Mercy must be found!

Mercy, the name given the dog by Operation Kindness volunteers was rescued Friday, April 14 by a Dallas man as she was huddled in a wooded area behind an apartment complex near Belt Line and Preston in North Dallas. The dog had been badly injured and was bleeding.  Mercy's injuries include being kicked and stabbed multiple times and left to die. The vet thinks she also has chemical burns and she may have been dragged behind a car.  Veterinarians later determined Mercy had been doused with gasoline and then lit on fire.

Mercy, the 10-month-old puppy who was doused with gasoline and set on fire, has died.    Her little heart just gave out.   
She was a gentle soul who showed remarkable strength and courage - she inspired us all!

Mercy died Sunday evening about 9:30 p.m. at the veterinary clinic where she was being treated.  Doctors said Mercy showed some improvement Saturday, but her condition started to deteriorate Sunday afternoon.  She was given a plasma transfusion, but shortly afterward her heart--weakened by burns over 60% over her body--stopped beating.

"All of us at Operation Kindness, as well as thousands of people who have been moved by her plight, are grieving for Mercy," said Jonnie England, executive director at Operation Kindness.  "We were so hopeful that this beautiful, gentle dog, who had suffered and endured unbearable pain, would pull through in the end.  “Mercy was a gentle, valiant and brave dog who suffered unimaginable pain and agony.”

IT WAS GOING BEHIND THE SCENES LOOKING AT WHERE FUR IS COMING FROM, FUR THAT IS ON THE RISE BIG TIME ON OUR HIGH STREETS. FUR IS BECOMING EVEN MORE FASHIONABLE THAN IT WAS IN THE 60'S AND 70'S. MOST FUR IS IMPORTED FROM CHINA.  CATS AND DOGS ARE KEPT IN CAGES WITH 6 TO 7 OTHERS ALL THEIR LIFE AND BEATEN AND KICKED AROUND UNTIL THEY MEET THE MOST HORIFIC DEATH EVER IMAGINABLE, THEY ARE PULLED OUT THEIR CAGE AND SKINNED ALIVE!!!!!!

The petition-text clearly states the case - the girl who was attacked faces hanging, not even her being only 17 when this happened seems to save her - the petition is directed to Kofi Annan at the UN and several others.
Iran is still far from Equal Rights for Women, if she hadn't defended herself she could have been stoned for having had sex outside marriage - yes, I know: it's so horrifying you won't believe your eyes - but please, do sign the petition - it really can make a difference!
